Saints John Fisher and Thomas More 2015, 2016 and onwards

Saint John Fisher, bishop, and Saint Thomas More, Lord Chancellor of England, were executed in 1535 for refusing to accept King Henry VIII as head of the Church in England. In the Australian liturgical calendar their day, 22 June, is a memorial (in the universal calendar it is an optional memorial).
