Royal Hobart Regatta (southern Tasmania) 2026

Royal Hobart Regatta Day is a public holiday in the south of Tasmania, including Hobart (the area south of and including Oatlands and Swansea, except Bronte Park, Catagunya, Strathgordon, Tarraleah, Wayatinah and the West Coast), on the second Monday in February: Monday 9 February 2026, Monday 8 February 2027 and Monday 14 February 2028. The parts of Tasmania that do not observe it have Recreation Day in November instead. Some other Tasmanian holidays, such as Easter Tuesday, the Launceston Cup, the Devonport Cup, the King Island Show and Agfest, are government holidays, generally for the Tasmanian State Service only; they are not general public holidays and are not shown on this calendar.
