Recreation Day (northern Tasmania) 2026

Recreation Day is a public holiday on the first Monday in November in the parts of Tasmania that do not observe Royal Hobart Regatta day, mainly the north and north-west of the state including Launceston: Monday 2 November 2026, Monday 1 November 2027 and Monday 6 November 2028. Some other Tasmanian holidays, such as Easter Tuesday, the Launceston Cup, the Devonport Cup, the King Island Show and Agfest, are government holidays, generally for the Tasmanian State Service only; they are not general public holidays and are not shown on this calendar.
