Proclamation Day 2070, 2071 and onwards

In South Australia the public holiday on 26 December is the Proclamation Day holiday, which South Australia observes instead of Boxing Day (Proclamation Day itself, the anniversary of the proclamation of the colony of South Australia in 1836, is 28 December). When 26 December falls on a Saturday, that day and the following Monday are public holidays; when it falls on a Sunday or a Monday, that day and the following Tuesday are. So South Australia has public holidays on Saturday 26 and Monday 28 December 2026, on Sunday 26 and Tuesday 28 December 2027, and on Tuesday 26 December 2028. The other states and territories have Boxing Day on 26 December.
