King's Birthday Western Australia 2027

In Western Australia the King’s Birthday is not on the second Monday in June as in most other states, because that date is close to Western Australia Day. The date is proclaimed by the Governor: Monday 28 September 2026 and Monday 27 September 2027. The City of Karratha and the Town of Port Hedland hold the King’s Birthday on a different day instead (Monday 3 August 2026; in Karratha Monday 2 August 2027). The 2028 date is not yet proclaimed and will be added when it is official. See also the King’s Birthday in the other states.
