Daylight saving time begins on the first Sunday in October in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory: Sunday 4 October 2026, Sunday 3 October 2027 and Sunday 1 October 2028. At 2am standard time clocks go forward one hour, to 3am. Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory do not use daylight saving time.
