Black Friday 1960, 1961 and onwards

Black Friday Australia : Friday after Thanksgiving USA

Black Friday in Australia is observed each year on the Friday after Thanksgiving in the USA (the fourth Thursday of November): Friday 27 November 2026, Friday 26 November 2027 and Friday 24 November 2028. It is a retail event, not a public holiday. Although it is originally a US phenomenon, Black Friday has become one of the biggest sales days of the year for Australian shoppers and retailers alike, both in stores and online. The sales weekend continues with Buy Nothing Day, Sofa Sunday and Cyber Monday.
