Thanos is a mutant member of the race of superhumans known as the Titanian Eternals. The character possesses abilities common to the Eternals, but amplified to a higher degree through a combination of his mutant–Eternal heritage, bionic amplification, mysticism, and power bestowed by the abstract entity, Death.
Thanos was born to A'Lars, a member of the Titans, a race of powerful, god-like beings that evolved on the planet of Titan. He belonged to the royal family of Titan and was the adoptive brother of the Eternal Eros, who eventually left Titan.
Thanos is powerful in the MCU due to his Titan origins, his incredible intelligence, his cybernetic enhancements, and in large part, his equipment. Thanos also had centuries of combat experience before he set his sights on Infinity Stones.
Thanos, however, is also afflicted by Deviant syndrome, a genetic disposition that gave him a monstrous appearance but also the power to synthesize cosmic energy, which made him stronger than most Eternals.
Thanos is from an extremely rare and powerful species called the Eternals. He is one of the Titanian Eternals and carries the deviant gene making him a mutant among his own people. This also gives him stats far above a normal Titanian Eternal. In addition, he can synthesize cosmic energy and possesses psionic powers.
Thanos vs MCU Hulk
The Mad Titan was easily able to dispatch the Hulk without even using the only Infinity Stone he had available at the time: The Power Stone. The polished fighting style of Thanos proved too much for Hulk and his overall brutality and savagery.
Omega, a clone of Thanos that incorporates the power and genetics of Galactus, easily ranks among the most powerful Thanos variants in the multiverse and the most crucial cosmic beings in the Marvel Universe.
Thanos' weaknesses are his emotions. Another weakness is his unrequited love for Death. If you try to woo Death as a competing suitor, he'll lose control. Thanos loves the personification of Death.
Based on the analysis of powers, speed, strength, durability, and combat, we can safely say that Odin is stronger than Thanos and outmatches him in almost every aspect. Thanos might be among the most feared villains in the Marvel Universe, but he comes nowhere near when compared to All-Father Odin.
Thanos often uses very simple attacks such as punches and kicks to take down his enemies. Unlike Thor, Thanos doesn't have any special fighting techniques other than illusions and intimidation. Thanos has god-like powers, which means he is definitely more powerful than any person on Earth and a good part of the galaxy.
How Can Captain America Lift Thor's Hammer? Simple: Steve Rogers is worthy. The inscription on Mjolnir reads “Whosoever holds this hammer, if they be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.” It doesn't matter how strong you are, if you aren't worthy, you can't lift Thor's hammer, no matter how hard you try.
Thanos would definitely wing against Hela. He is stronger, more intelligent, and has far deadlier artifacts at his disposal. It may be different in the MCU, but when it comes to comics, Thanos definitely proved himself to be a much larger threat to the Universe as a whole than Hela.
Hercules / Zeus
In fact, he is considered by many authorities to be the physically strongest character Marvel has ever created. According to legend, he replaced Atlas in holding the sky on his shoulders.

While Thanos is an Eternal and has the standard powers of super-strength, agility, regeneration, immortality, and more, Adam Warlock takes the upper hand. He can be killed, but he resurrects to be stronger every time.
Thanos' Inaction Proves Eternity's Importance
Through its mystery and the likelihood that Thanos doesn't even know of its existence, Eternity is likely like a forgotten God that chose when it should and shouldn't be seen.
Galactus would win in a fight against Odin. Odin and Galactus are practically equal in their respective power levels, but they are stronger, more durable, and faster. Odin's only chance at defeating Galactus is if the latter is starved or poorly fed.
Thanos was scared of the ancient one, Odin, and Ego. That's why Thanos didn't show up until infinity war.
However, as Odin's first born and most loyal and faithful servant, Hela was the original wielder of Mjolnir. Drawing enhanced strength and power from Asgard itself, at one point, Hela was the most powerful warrior in all Nine Realms, unmatched in every way.
Instead of aliens, androids, and wizards, Thanos is afraid of aliens, Asgardians, and wizards.
Kang is more powerful than Thanos
Thanos certainly presented the Avengers with a challenge, and his power continued to grow as he amassed the various infinity stones. Kang, though, seems to have almost limitless power once he can access even one aspect of his hyperadvanced technology.
When Thanos got control over all six Infinity Stones, he became one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe, though on his quest to obtain them, Thanos revealed that he was afraid to face the Hulk.
Kang is stronger than Thanos, with the Conquerer being much more challenging to defeat than the Infinity Gauntlet-wielding villain.
Thanos was born on Saturn's moon Titan as the son of Eternals A'lars and Sui-San, the grandson of Kronos, the nephew of Zuras, and the grandnephew of Oceanus and Uranos. His brother is Eros of Titan.
Eternals: The Heretic introduces Uranos the Undying, a far more evil character than Thanos.
