Shia Muslims pray on a small piece of earth, clay, or stone (called a turbah or mo) because they believe prostration (sujud) must be on pure, natural ground, following the Prophet Muhammad's practice of praying on the earth. This turbah acts as a portable, pure surface, symbolizing humility and connection to the earth, which is considered a purifier, ensuring the forehead touches something natural that isn't worn or eaten, like soil, sand, or pebbles.
There were no carpets there in the mosque of the Prophet in Medina. So they would prostrate on the earth and the marks of mud, for example, would be on their forehead. Or they would prostrate on pebbles and they would feel the heat of the pebbles.
The Prophet (s) used to pray on earth and is also reported to have shown reverence towards the soil of Karbala in his lifetime with the foreknowledge of what would happen upon it. So although it is not compulsory for the Shia to pray on a turba made from the soil of Karbala, it is considered meritorious to do so.
An aqeeq ring also has religious importance in Islam as it is considered sunnah to wear one. Muhammad wore a carnelian / aqiq ring set with silver as a commemoration of the removal of idols from the Grand Mosque in Mecca in 630 CE. Many Muslims do the same, including both Shia and Sunni clergy.
The point is that Shi'a Muslims pray on a 'turbah (تربه)' (which comes from the word tarab that means mud) because it is taher and pure. And the Prophet (pbuh) used to pray on pure flat GROUND because in the Prophet's time they did not have a sijadah (prayer carpet) as there was no technology back then to produce them.
Shi'a scholars say that if Ameen is said with the intention of it being a part of Salat, then the prayer will be invalid. It is a foreign word and has nothing related to the Surah, or correct dhikrs mentioned as parts of the Salat. We are obliged to adhere to how the Prophet (s.a.w.) has taught us to pray.
"Al Salam" literally means "The Peace"; the number "313" is the number men who accompanied the Islamic Prophet Muhammad during the Battle of Badr and is said by Shias to be the number of people that will accompany the 12th Shia Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi, when he returns to the world during the end of times.
The black flag emoji (🏴) in an Islamic context often refers to the historical "Black Standard" (ar-rāyat as-sawdāʾ), a banner used by Prophet Muhammad and later by the Abbasid Caliphate, symbolizing religious revolt, jihad, and eschatological events like the coming of the Mahdi. Today, various Islamist militant groups, like ISIS, use similar black flags with the Shahada (declaration of faith) to represent jihad and their vision for an Islamic state, though it's also adopted by some Muslims online for broader cultural or religious identity.
They will ask thee about wine and gambling. Say, 'In both of them there is great sin (ithm) and also some uses for men, but their sin is greater than their usefulness.' Ithm is also associated with what is considered the worst sin of all, shirk. Shirk signifies associating partners with God.
During his time in the heavens, Allah gave the commandment to the Prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa sallam) to establish 50 daily prayers. The Prophet then went back and forth between Prophet Musa (as) and Allah until the prayers were reduced to 5 daily prayers whilst still being equivalent in reward to 50 prayers.
Shah Waliullah Dehlawi — He believed that the Shia interpretation and practices of Islam should be discarded, since they greatly misguide people. Ibn Baz — Several of his fatwas denounced Shiites as atheists and apostates, and, among other rulings, forbade Sunni marriage to Shiites.
Consequently, according to the Shi'ah witr prayer is obligatory {wajib} upon the Holy Prophet (S) and it is recommended {mustahabb} upon the other Muslims.
The Four Sunni Schools of Jurisprudence take it obligatory to wash one's feet, ankles included, in the wudu', but the Shi'as believe that the feet should be wiped from toe tips to the top of the feet. According to the Shiite jurisprudence, the feet should be wiped by the moisture of the hands, just like the head.
Sunni Muslims believe that the Prophet did not explicitly declare a successor. Shia Muslims believe that the Prophet publicly designated his cousin and son-in-law, Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him), as the first in a line of hereditary Imams from the Prophet's family to lead the community after him.
For example, prostration on paper is permissible because it is made of natural elements grown on earth.
Besides India, many nations have a significant Muslim population. But there is one country where there is not a single Muslim resident. Vatican City is the world's smallest independent country. Vatican City serves as a religious and cultural hub for the Catholic community.
The refugee nation flag emoji is available for WhatsApp running on Android. It works the same way as skin tone emojis, made up of a white flag and three colour modifiers (🟧⬛️🟧). But you have to keep in mind that if you text this to an iPhone user, they will see the emoji sequence like this 🏳️🟧⬛️🟧.

Shi'a Muslims, also called 'the party of Ali', believe that Muhammad chose Ali as his successor rather than having a bloodline successor. After Ali's death, Shi'a Muslims were led by twelve imams, whom they believe were spiritual successors to the Prophet Muhammad rather than having any family connection to him.
Schools differ on whether a woman may be imam (leader) of a jama'ah (congregational) prayer if the congregation consists of women alone. Three of the four Sunni madhhabs—Shafi'is, Hanafis, and Hanbalis—allow this, although Hanafis consider it to be makrooh, a disliked act.
Bukhari, in particular, is a Sunni scholar who compiled the ahadith, thus forming what we today know as the Sahih Bukhari. The fact is that we Shias do not reject Bukhari. There are many ahadith in Sahih Bukhari that have been accepted by Shias, but we Shias do not hold that whatever is in Sahih Bukhari is always true.
