No one "sold" their wife in the sense of a transaction, but Abraham offered his wife Sarah to Pharaoh and King Abimelech, claiming she was his sister to save his own life, a form of deception that put her in danger; later, Judah committed adultery with his daughter-in-law Tamar, who then exposed him, showing his own moral failing. The story often mistakenly associated with selling a wife is Ananias and Sapphira, who sold property but lied about the proceeds to the early church, leading to their deaths, but they were not selling each other.
As noted, Ananias and Sapphira tested God. “Their sin was lying to God and to God's people- saying they gave the whole amount but holding back some for themselves and trying to make themselves appear more generous than they really were.
Nevertheless, the faithful husband that she had left behind was on his way to rescue her… “So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer and a lethech of barley.” While the Bible does not clearly state why Hosea had to purchase Gomer, it does imply that Gomer had wound up in slavery.
However, since both parties engaged in adultery should be put to death, Tamar confesses that she was guilty, but so was the man who gave her this pledge… and then she reveals Judah's pledge! He too was guilty of adultery and should be put to death!
3He had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines, and his wives turned his heart away [from God]. 4For when Solomon was old, his wives turned his heart away after other gods; and his heart was not completely devoted to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David.

Ananias & Sapphira were already believers and followers of Jesus and part of the small church. They know the truth yet still they coveted and lied to the Spirit of Truth. Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of Jesus are definitely two different people. It's a common name. Just in the Christian New Testament, there's also Mary, the sister of Martha. And really, the name is Miriam/Maryam/Mary--Miriam being the sister of Moses.
Scholars believe Mary would have been somewhere between 12-16 years old when she had Jesus (Ibid.). Given the biblical account and the Jewish cultural practices in Mary's day, the most plausible age Mary would have been when she had Jesus was most likely 15 or 16 years old.
