Obi-Wan Kenobi – Obi-Wan wore a blue lightsaber for virtually his entire life as a Jedi. He had a blue lightsaber when he started off as a young Padawan, and he held another blue lightsaber in his hand when, as a Jedi Knight, he was slain by Darth Vader on the Death Star.
Quite possibly the greatest blue lightsaber user of all time is Anakin Skywalker, who was one of the best Jedi Knights during the time of the Clone Wars. Known as the Chosen One, Anakin was one of the strongest Force users of all time in terms of pure potential.
Black is the rarest lightsaber color in the world of Star Wars. For a while, the only known black lightsaber was the Darksaber, forged a thousand years ago and owned by a Mandalorian Jedi. However, the High Republic era revealed that at least one more Jedi had a black lightsaber.
Originally the weapon had a blue blade, but after his destruction of the Jedi Temple and fall to the dark side in 28 ABY, Ren modified it into one with a red blade.

It's no coincidence that we eventually learn that Yoda himself had a green lightsaber of his own. Wielding the green lightsaber, Luke's greatest victory wasn't in battle, but in achieving a connection to Darth Vader which opened him back into the light.
Rey's lightsaber was a yellow-bladed lightsaber that was constructed by the Jedi Rey Skywalker following the First Order-Resistance War.
Despite their biologic nature, rainbow gems could be used as lightsaber crystals. Tenel Ka Djo, the Princess of Hapes, had a tiara of rainbow gems worth the price of an entire solar system. She used some of the crystals in her second lightsaber, after her first one malfunctioned and led to the loss of her arm.
Purple itself is considered the most powerful lightsaber color in the Star Wars galaxy. Very few Jedi have ever wielded a lightsaber of this color. The only two people known to have wielded a purple lightsaber are Mace Windu and Darth Revan in the past.
Jedi Battlemaster Cin Drallig and Grand Master Yoda had knowledge and mastery of all seven forms, including Juyo, befitting Drallig's role as lightsaber combat instructor at the Jedi Temple and Yoda's reputation of having mastered all forms of lightsaber combat as did Anoon Bondara, another lightsaber instructor.
Leia's lightsaber was a blue-bladed lightsaber used by Princess Leia Organa during her time as a Jedi Padawan training under her brother Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker.
Without a doubt, the most notable Jedi with a purple saber is Mace Windu, portrayed in the prequel trilogy by Samuel L. Jackson. Audiences first got a glimpse of the unusual blade in Episode II: Attack of the Clones, making Windu the coolest Jedi in one cinematic moment.
During his years as a Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi fought with three lightsabers. His first had a blue plasma blade and a hilt similar to that of his master, Qui-Gon Jinn. Obi-Wan used this weapon until Darth Maul kicked it into a deep shaft on Naboo. He then constructed a new, blue-bladed lightsaber with a similar design.
Usage and history
This blue-bladed lightsaber belonged to the Sith Master Darth Sidious after his resurrection on Byss. Darth Sidious using the lightsaber to battle Luke Skywalker. In his lab on the Imperial throne-world, Darth Sidious kept a number of stolen Jedi lightsabers if he needed them.
The Darksaber goes back to the time of Tarre Vizsla, the first Mandalorian to become a Jedi Knight. He created a one-of-a-kind lightsaber with a flat blade of dark, swirling energy. In the Star Wars Rebels episode “Trials of the Darksaber,” Fenn Rau shared more of the Mandalorian folklore surrounding the weapon.
Silver Lightsabers
In Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan Kenobi uses a silver lightsaber when he faces off against his former apprentice, Darth Vader. This represents the end of Kenobi's time as a Jedi and the beginning of his new role as a protector of peace.
It appears rarely in the Star Wars universe—so rarely, in fact, that the current canon recognizes only one carrier of a white lightsaber. Ahsoka Tano, the former Jedi Padawan who aided in the rebellion against the Galactic Empire, is acknowledged as the sole possessor of the white lightsaber.

Green lightsabers have been wielded by a number of famous Jedi including Master Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Luke Skywalker. In Return of the Jedi, Luke's lightsaber color switched from blue to green, possibly representing his development as a skilled Jedi warrior.
The main reason for the change was that during the filming of Return of the Jedi, the crew realized that the blue saber did not look right during the battle with Jabba the Hutt. When shot in daylight, the blue would blend with the color of the sky, so George Lucas and his crew decided to make the change.
