The most common and powerful dua for sickness in Islam is: "Allahumma Rabban-nas, adhhib al-ba'sa, ishfi anta al-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifa'an la yughadiru saqama" (O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the difficulty and bring healing, for You are the Healer. There is no healing but Your healing, a healing that leaves no ailment). Other significant duas include reciting the three Quls (Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, An-Nas) and seeking refuge with Allah's might from the evil of what one fears.
Du'a for Shifa (healing)
Transliteration: Allahumma Rabban-naas adhhibil-ba'sa washfi Antash-Shaafi laa shifaa'a illaa shifaa'uk shifaa'an laa yughaadiru saqamaa. Translation: O Allah, the Lord of mankind, remove the difficulty and bring about healing as You are the Healer.
In another hadith, Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Allah did not send down any disease but that he also sent down the cure” (Bukhari). Surah Al Fatiha, the opening surah is recommended for bodily and psychological healing.
Prayer for Healing “O Allah, heal Your servant who is suffering from illness. Restore them to health and strength, and grant patience to their family and those who care for them. Aameen.” Prayer with the Beautiful Names of Allah “O Rahman, O Rahim, O Shafi, O Jabbar, bestow healing upon Your servant who is ill.
🤲🏻 The Prophet ﷺ said that the dua of the sick is accepted. 💭 So today I'm praying for everyone who is suffering right now. May Allah grant you ease, healing, and strength.
Dua for Shifa (Healing)
“Allahumma Rabban-nas, adhhib al-ba'sa, ishfi anta al-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifa'an la yughadiru saqama.” Translation: “O Allah! The Lord of mankind, remove this disease and cure him. You are the Great Curer.
Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve your sick servant, and give your power of healing to those who minister to his needs, that he may be strengthened in his weakness and have confidence in your loving care; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: 'Surah al-Fatihah is a medicine for every illness. ' One of the names of this Surah is 'Shafiyah,' and another name is 'Surah al-Shifa,' for it is a cure for every illness.
As mentioned in a hadith, “The prayer of a person for another is not rejected as long as he prays for his brother with something good in his absence” (Sahih Muslim).
Dua is effective because it involves actively seeking help and guidance from Allah while reaffirming one's faith and reliance on Him. It encourages a mindset of persistence, patience, and humility, which are crucial for long-term success.
These surahs provide protection from harm, including physical ailments and spiritual afflictions. Several Quranic verses are known as Ayat Al-Shifa (verses of healing), including: Surah Al-Isra (17:82): “And We send down from the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe...”
Allah's name Ash-Shaafee— The One who cures, the Healer— is not mentioned in the Quran, but occurs in a narration of the Prophet salallahu 'alayhi wa sallam. Ash-Shaafee is the only one who can cure and heal any disease or ailment.
Most Muslims understand that ruqyah Syar'iyyah is only effectively treat non-medical disease or illness caused by psychiatric disorders and jin, whereas medical illness to be treated by medical means, Though al-Qur'an Surat al-Isra' verses 82 mentions that al-Qur'an is as a bidder (a cure) and a mercy for believers ...
To get your dua (supplication) accepted, focus on sincerity, perfect your etiquette (praise Allah, send blessings on the Prophet), have firm yaqeen (certainty) in His response, perform good deeds (like charity), repent for sins, and make dua at key times (like after prayers or during hardship) with humility and focus, understanding Allah responds in the best way, even if not instantly as you expect.
Surah Al Fatiha, The Cure Of Illness. Subhan ALLAH Alhamdulillah for beautiful knowledge indeed it's best ruqyah surah fatiha also Umm al-Quran" (Mother of the Quran).
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) encouraged making dua for Shifa for oneself and others, affirming that Allah alone possesses the power of healing and recovery.
Transliteration: Allahumma Rabban-naasi adhhibil-ba'sa washfi Antash-Shaafi laa shifaa'a illaa shifaa'uk shifaa'an laa yughaadiru saqamaa. Translation: O Allah, the Lord of mankind, remove the difficulty and bring about healing as You are the Healer.
Forbidden prayer times
As mentioned, Muslims are banned from praying during 3 main times: sunrise, sunset, and Zawwal. The prostration of recitation (sajda al tilawa) is permissible to be offered during these times though it is disliked (tanzihan).
One of the functions of holy Quran is as asy-syifa (medicine). It is called so because it can be a medicine that heals various diseases. This phrase is found in Surah Fussilat: 44; Yunus: 57; and al-Isra: 82 (Syukran, 2019). Qur'an is “syifa”, which has a two-sided assessment.
The 4 Qul are known as the shielding chapters in the Qur'an. They are four extremely short surahs which, when recited, provide an abundance of safety: Al-Kafirun; Al-Ikhlas; Al-Falaq; and An-Naas.
Also with alongside the treatment you can recite verses of the Quran or Ruqya for healing (Shifa). I have not come across any specific virtue that Surah Rahman cures diseases. However, saying this you can recite Surah Rahman and other Surah and verses with the intention of healing based on the verse below.
A Prayer for Healing Sick Family or Friends
I ask, in the name of Jesus, that you would heal this disease, that you would have compassion and bring healing from all sickness. Your word says in Psalm 107:19-20 that when we call out to you, the Eternal one, you will give the order, heal and rescue us from certain death.
Speedy Recovery. Living Lord, Your love has held me and kept me through this suffering. Now may your hope and healing lead me quickly to a place of restoration.
Rapid Heal is a Prayer that halves the interval at which the user's Life points are restored from 6 seconds to 3 seconds per heal outside of combat. Rapid Heal does not drain the user's prayer points quickly, but can not take effect in combat. This limits its use to out of combat.
