It turns out that the Queen has a favourite supermarket - and you've probably popped in there a million times. Waitrose is the only supermarket in the UK with a Royal Warrant, Hello reports, meaning it has been approved to supply goods to Buckingham Palace.
No washing machines
Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla's clothes are not allowed to be cleaned in washing machines—everything is hand washed. When they sent their clothing away to be cleaned, they found that some items of clothing were kept as souvenirs.
Heinz, which has been providing the royal households with products since 1955, said it “sincerely hopes to be able to continue doing so for many years to come”.

'There is a little 'shop' set up in the drawing room at Windsor Castle and the Queen can pop in and choose gifts at her leisure. 'Late at night, after dinner, usually around 10pm, she'll pop into her little Christmas shop and do some shopping.
If the duchess did do the weekly groceries, her supermarket sightings would be a lot more common. But she likely keeps her public errand runs to a minimum due to security reasons, Koenig suggests. Although the expectant royal stepped out without disguises, her brother-in-law usually opts to cover up.

During an appearance on MasterChef Australia, Camilla herself confirmed the latter after being asked what foods royals won't eat. “I hate to say this, but garlic,” the Duchess of Cornwall said. “Garlic is a no-no.”
Sometimes, the Queen of Britain, Her Royal Majesty Elizabeth II, needs to change clothes up to five times a day – in the case of big celebrations, for example. And not simply the dress she's wearing but the shoes, gloves, jewelry, medals and other accessories and, most important, her hats.
Does the Queen ever cook for herself? McGrady says that while Prince Philip was an “amazing chef” and regularly enjoyed cooking on the grill and having family BBQs on the Balmoral estate, and the younger royals like William, Kate, Meghan and Harry, all enjoy cooking, the Queen herself stays out of the kitchen.

However, perhaps a little more unconventionally, the Queen even has a fast-food McDonald's branch. Nested 80 miles outside of London at the Banbury Gateway Shopping Park, on the edge of Oxfordshire, the Maccy D's is open to the public.

The majority of the ingredients used in the Royal kitchens comes from their own estates. Carolyn Robb, who was Charles and Diana's personal chef, says that they enjoyed eating game that Charles had hunted personally, and they also grew their own fruit and veg for daily meals.

At her former primary residence, Buckingham Palace, and at her current home, Windsor Castle, the Queen has a staff on hand to take care of most of the chores we non-royals dread: The laundry. Vacuuming. Washing the dishes after a meal.

The monarch was reportedly put into a state called 'twilight sleep' during labour, where she was given an anaesthetic and the baby born using forceps. The controversial technique is no longer used today. Indeed, when Her Majesty welcomed her fourth child, Prince Edward, she chose another method of delivery.

According to an interview McGrady gave to the DailyMail, the Queen hated garlic and forbade dishes containing the ingredient from being served at any table she was seated at. However, just as some royal family members love shellfish even though Her Majesty avoids it, the Queen's husband was a big fan of garlic.
