In the United States, the most common hair and eye color combination is brown hair and brown eyes, with more than 75% of the population having this combination.
The right hair color, however, can make your already striking eye color appear even more so. Typically, rich brunette hues, warm blonde, and coppery reds provide the perfect amount of contrast to make blue eyes pop.
When broken down by gender, men ranked gray, blue, and green eyes as the most attractive, while women said they were most attracted to green, hazel, and gray eyes. Despite brown eyes ranking at the bottom of our perceived attraction scale, approximately 79% of the world's population sports melanin-rich brown eyes.
Which hair colour do women think is the sexiest? Most women think brunette hair is the sexiest, as 25% of those polled favoured this option. Womens' second preference is blonde, which was voted as the sexiest hair colour by 19.6% of women. Again, red took third spot, accounting for 11.8% of womens' votes.
A Tukey test was applied to this data showing that all three hair colors differed significantly from each other. Brunette was clearly the hair color perceived as most attractive, with blonde as the second most attractive, and red as the least attractive.
Dark Brown

A third of all men in the poll found brown hair to be the most attractive; 28.6% said they prefer black hair. That means of the total polled, 59.7% said they prefer women with dark hair.

Hazel is the most attractive eye colour in females
Among women, the results were somewhat less defined. While hazel was the most popular eye colour to receive a “like”, it only beat purple eyes - which aren't naturally possible - by a single match.
