The British monarch can't be arrested or be the subject of civil and criminal proceedings, meaning he is effectively exempt from the law. King Charles enjoys sovereign immunity, meaning he can't be prosecuted under a civil or criminal investigation. This rule also applied to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Royals are not allowed to vote
The royals are expected to remain politically neutral at all times. This includes refraining from voting in elections. While their voting is not strictly illegal, the U.K. Parliament's website does say that "it is considered unconstitutional for the Monarch to vote in an election."
Shops will not be obliged to close on the day of the Queen's funeral, however, some may choose to do so as a mark of respect. Retailers may choose to operate reduced opening hours with the day being declared a Bank Holiday.
Although there tend to be strict dress codes in place at royal social functions, such as the garden parties at Buckingham Palace and race days at the Ascot, there is no ban on tattoos.

It is unlikely that you'll ever find a member of the royal family pulling out a lip gloss for a hasty touch-up in the backseat. While it is mandatory for royals to appear put-together in public at all times, quick touch-ups are out of the question.
Her Majesty is known for her trademark short curly locks. According to the Express, the Queen dyed her hair with a product called Chocolate Kiss until the 1990s, and it gradually went gray within a couple of months.

Schools were closed on the day of Elizabeth II's funeral as it is a bank holiday. The King announced the new bank holiday for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. According to Operation London Bridge, her funeral would take place 10 days after her death. Elizabeth II died on Thursday, 8 September.
The day of the Queen's death - Thursday, September 8 - will be followed by a 12-day mourning period.
