Making up a mere 1.8% of the population, ENTJs are the rarest of all the 16 personality types.

There are only slightly more female INFJs than male INFJs though, with 1.6% of the women in the US having this preference and only 1.3% of the men in the US population having this preference.
INTJs are typically very quiet and reserved unless they happen to meet someone who, like them, loves exploring theoretical concepts, analyzing possibilities, and dreaming up long-term goals. That said, they're not typically very verbal when it comes to discussing their feelings or people's personal lives.

It can be debated which MBTI personality type is truly the most “shy” among the 16 types, but the INFP personality type — also known as the “Mediator” — is often listed at the top of shyness ranks.
ENTJs, those extroverted, intuitive, thinking and judgement-oriented folks, represent only 1.8 percent of the population. INTJs, just one letter off from us INFJs, show up about 2.1 percent of the time. The largest represented type is ISFJ, introverted, sensing, feeling and judging, at 13.8 percent.
The introverted (I) intuitive (N) types (“INs”)—INFJ, INFP, INTJ and INTP—are among the most “sensitive” of the personality types.
According to Comen, both INTJs and INTPs are among the smartest, adding that thinking is actually "the primary life goal" for INTPs, as opposed to the key tool. These people are most likely to be engineers and mathematicians, Robledo says.
ENFP. Talkative and a bit self-absorbed, ENFPs aren't always the most polite personality type. ENFPs have a tendency to talk about themselves a lot and they're not great listeners. They can also take things to heart quickly, building up resentment towards people who they think have done them wrong.
They're probably ISFJs, who feel super uncomfortable with the prospect of hurting anyone's feelings. "They tend to be wallflowers and can sometimes stumble over their words," says Owens. They'll likely skip the inflammatory family dinner conversation—even if they're Zooming in from thousands of miles away.
What is the rarest MBTI personality type? Apparently INFJ is rarest for males and INTJ is rarest for females. INFJ males make up 1.2% of the population and ENTJ/INTJ females make up 0.9% of the population. Another source stated that INTJ was rarest for females and occured in 0.8% of the female population.
The INFJ. The INFJ is one of the rarest and most misunderstood personality types. These types are often seen as mysterious, daydreamy, and even confusing.
Above all, however, what makes an ENFJ most easy to talk to is that they can easily pick up on hidden thoughts, emotions, and motivations (due to their Intuitive preference). In other words, they just know when you're feeling angry, bummed, or drained without you even having to say so.
The most common personality type is the ISFJ personality type, known as 'The Protector'. This type occurs in 14% of the population. It is also the most common personality type among women. ISFJ stands for Introversion, Sensing, Feeling and Judging.

ENFJs and ESFJs in particular are two Extraverted types who could be more prone to anxiety. Firstly, both of these personalities lead with Extraverted Feeling (Fe). Having Fe as your dominant cognitive function means it's the first mental tool you rely on to make sense of the world.
