A virtuous woman embodies strength, wisdom, and integrity, characterized by qualities like kindness, resilience, and diligence, often rooted in faith, and expressed through compassionate actions, wise speech, and a strong work ethic, bringing honor to herself, family, and community. She's not meek but powerful, capable, and supportive, managing resources wisely and facing challenges with grace and inner beauty.
All of these virtues: Dignity, patience, diligence, generosity, courage, wisdom, and devotion represent the intrinsic values of Godly womanhood. These are not what a woman looks like, but who she is.
Industrious, faithful, strong, capable, gracious, domestic, giving and altogether wise. She looks good on paper, but where is this elusive virtuous woman in real life?
Most of us have probably heard about the traits of a virtuous woman, as seen in Proverbs 31. The passage describes a godly woman as someone who is patient, wise, faithful, and generous. She honors her husband, takes care of her family, and helps the poor.
The Wise Woman plans and actions daily practices that sustain her life. She balances rest and activity. She is mindful of her thoughts and emotions and creates ways to express and release what does not serve her. She builds a sense of skill independence so she can take good care of herself.
