Yes, it is perfectly acceptable and even biblical to call Jesus a friend, as He Himself said, "No longer do I call you servants, but I have called you friends" (John 15:15). However, this friendship is distinct from earthly friendships; it's a close, trusting relationship where He is also Lord, King, and Savior, meaning it involves obedience, respect, and acknowledging His authority, not just casual companionship.
JESUS is everything to us ! King, Father, teacher, brother, friend, guide, influence, master etc. HE is above it all , any circumstance you face and anyone who's guidance you need , HE is the only 1 that is on point with the situation and ourselves! Yes HE is held as the most high !
Jesus Is Our Truest Friend
But He is also our friend, our closest companion. The Lord is the only One who knows us fully, better than anyone else. He is the only One who has been with us through every high and every low, whether we recognized His presence at the time or not.
You can talk to Jesus, like a friend. Ask him questions, tell him how you're feeling, whether you're sad or happy, worried or excited. Sometimes you can just be still and quiet with him; if you listen for his voice, you can hear him speaking in your heart.
Some people will see it that way because they're on the outside and they'll pick apart anything you say about Jesus. But if you belong to Him, there's nothing wrong with saying that, because you'll never have better friend.
“You've got to have respect and fear of God.” For this person, he could not imagine God as someone you'd sit down and have a beer with. For him, God merits much more respect than that. So can we call God a friend? The easy answer is “Yes!” But we can't work from a narrow definition of friendship.
Names which may be illegal
Any name which could be blasphemous (e.g. “God”) may be illegal. Note that “Jesus” is used as a first name and is probably not illegal. Any name which is also a trademark would not be illegal in itself.
In the Bible God gets angry at human violence. He gets angry at powerful leaders who oppress other humans. And the thing that makes God more angry than anything else in the Bible is Israel's constant covenant betrayal.
In Christianity, you pray to God (the Father), through Jesus (the Son), in the power of the Holy Spirit, acknowledging the Trinity (God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). While the primary pattern is to pray to the Father in Jesus' name, it's also acceptable and scriptural to pray directly to Jesus as Lord and Savior, recognizing His divine personhood and role as mediator.
The 80/20 rule in friendships (Pareto Principle) suggests that 80% of your joy and support comes from 20% of your friends, or that 80% of friendship value comes from key interactions, not every moment. It helps you identify your core supportive friends and focus energy on high-value connections, rather than spreading yourself thin, allowing you to appreciate meaningful moments and set realistic expectations, recognizing some relationships will be less fulfilling.
You can talk to God about your daily troubles, your thoughts at the moment, your hopes and dreams, and even tell Him (and tell yourself) the things for which you're thankful. You can tell God about casual or hard topics just as you would with a concerned friend.
It is considered a sin not to share the Gospel.
On that mountain, Jesus didn't give a suggestion; He gave a command — a divine imperative. Anything less than obedience is disobedience to Jesus.
To call God friend is to realize the worth that God gave me when Jesus died for me. To accept that friendship means we seek Him out and lay down our lives for Him in return.
Here are 8 ways you can grow your friendship with God
To call him Jesus is to say you believe that he did what he came to do: to save. Call him Jesus today as an act and a declaration of faith that you believe he is exactly who he says he is, and that he will do exactly what he promised he will do.
God's design for friendship is that we would serve one another by lifting each other up (1 Thessalonians 5:11). This can look so many different ways. It's being the hands and feet of Jesus, supporting our friends financially, giving our time, freely listening, interceding for one another and so much more.
When we pray "in Jesus' name," we're praying with His authority. Jesus is truly God and truly man. He came like a servant and took on human likeness (Philippians 2:7). As a result, it's often easier to pray to Jesus when our feelings are tender or we're feeling weak.
The motion is performed by joining the first three fingers, to symbolize the Holy Trinity, and putting the two other fingers in the palm, then touching one's forehead, below the chest, left side, then right side and finishing with open hand on the chest again with bowing head.
Praying directly to Jesus is absolutely proper and has biblical support. In Scripture, we see people addressing Jesus in prayer (Acts 7:59, when Stephen prays, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit”). Jesus also invites people to come to Him personally (Matthew 11:28).
The biggest unforgivable sin varies by faith, but in Christianity, it's often seen as blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, a persistent rejection of God's grace, while in Islam, the gravest unforgivable sin is shirk, or associating partners with God, if not repented. Pride is also considered a foundational, serious sin across many faiths, linked to the downfall of figures like Satan.
Indra also called Śakra, the supreme god, is the first of the 33, followed by Agni. Some of these brother gods were invoked in pairs such as Indra-Agni, Mitra-Varuna and Soma-Rudra.
Injustice – God tells the prophet, Amos (5:21-24), that God hates worship and worship services when God's people don't also act outside of worship with justice and righteousness. Stubbornness about religious rules.
It's true: Jesus is our friend. However, it may be helpful to note what friendship with God doesn't mean. This isn't a relationship of equals. We don't think of Jesus as our buddy.

Some of the names to avoid are Uchux, Skibidi, Ytjt, Harimau, Evil. Clearly, these aren't real. Or could they be? The first rule to observe when naming a child is to not give names that have a bad meaning in Bahasa Melayu or unsavoury words.
