To minimize your iPhone screen for one-handed use, enable Reachability in Settings > Accessibility > Touch, then swipe down on the bottom edge (or double-tap the Home button on older models) to bring the top half of the screen down; swipe up or tap the dark area to return to full size. This feature effectively "minimizes" the display by bringing content within easy thumb reach, not by making the entire screen smaller like Zoom, says Apple Support.
Change the screen resolution
If your Home Screen icons are magnified on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. If the icons on your Home Screen appear too large or are magnified to fit the screen, your device may have the Zoom feature turned on. Learn how to turn off Zoom.
Click your profile picture, then click Settings. Click the Share screen tab. Under When I share, click the Show my Zoom Workplace Application and meeting windows toggle to enable it.
Hide app labels with a custom focus mode (optional)
If you want to take minimalism to the next level, try hiding app names using a Focus mode and Shortcuts. Create custom icons with the Shortcuts app and remove app names. Use Focus filters to show only selected apps and widgets when the mode is active.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Displays in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Select a resolution. If you see a thumbnail view of the available resolutions, move the pointer over the thumbnails to see the resolution sizes, then click the one you want.
Three-finger gestures on iPhone primarily activate accessibility features like VoiceOver (for screen reading and navigation) and Zoom (magnification), allowing scrolling, zooming, and text manipulation (copy/paste/undo) with specific taps and drags, though some text actions work without VoiceOver enabled for quick editing. Common gestures include three-finger double-tap to toggle VoiceOver speech, triple-tap for the screen curtain, and pinching/spreading with three fingers for copy/paste actions, notes this YouTube video.
Accidental resizing using keyboard shortcuts
Pressing certain keys (like Ctrl + + or Ctrl + -) can zoom your screen in or out. You can press Ctrl + 0 (zero) to instantly reset the zoom back to the default size.
If your computer is set to a lower display resolution, it stretches your desktop on a large display. Try selecting a larger resolution. See How Do I Change My Display Resolution?
Once you've zoomed in or out, you can quickly return your screen to its original view by following these steps:
