Anakin's father is The Emperor. Palpatine manipulated the Midi-chlorians inside of Shmi's womb to create Anakin.

But when he visited the Lars farm, he learned Tusken Raiders had kidnapped his mother. Anakin found Shmi, but she died in his arms. Simple answer, Tusken Raiders like to attack and kidnap moisture farmers. in 22 BBY, Shmi was simply in the wrong place and the wrong time. She was picking mushrooms off some far out moisturizers, they got a hold of her and decided to torture and enslave her.

After escaping the infamous Sarlacc pit, Boba Fett is enslaved by the Tusken Raiders. He quickly earns their respect, and they make him a part of their tribe. Boba is both following in his father's footsteps and allowing yet another parallel to the Native experience.
Identified as a Force-sensitive, he was taken for training by the Jedi Order and was assigned to the Heliost Clan where he learned lightsaber combat from Jedi Master Tera Sinube. When Jinn was twelve years old, he was assigned as a Padawan to Jedi Master Dooku, from whom he learned the ways of the Force.
Owen was the perceived brother of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi seen through a vision from the Force. In reality, Kenobi was actually seeing Owen Lars, Anakin Skywalker's stepbrother.
