Sanemi's Nichirin sword is green because it signifies his mastery of the Wind Breathing style, reflecting its wild, aggressive, and unpredictable nature, much like a powerful storm. This color choice connects him to the element of wind and mirrors his harsh, relentless personality, with the blade's sharp appearance echoing natural disasters, according to Sword Slice.
Characters and Their Nichirin Blades
Sanemi Shinazugawa: His green Nichirin blade signifies his wild and unpredictable nature as the Wind Hashira. Mitsuri Kanroji: The pink blade of Mitsuri, the Love Hashira, represents her passionate and loving nature.
Unlike the more common red, blue, or yellow Nichirin swords, the Black Nichirin Sword is exceptionally rare. So much so that even veteran Demon Slayers consider it an anomaly.
Sanemi Shinazugawa, also known as the Wind Hashira, uses a sword as his weapon in Demon Slayer. The sword he wields is a Nichirin Blade, a special sword made from a unique ore that can absorb sunlight and emit different colored blades with their own special properties.
In the Anime, Sanemi wields a green katana, standard size.
Sanemi became partially colorblind.
3. Sanemi's Green Nichirin Sword. Sanemi, the Wind Hashira, wields an emerald green blade that complements the green hue frequently connected to the wind in anime. His sword, which has a jagged design on the overall length of the blade, represents his wind-breathing abilities.
The only canonically LGBTQ+ character in Demon Slayer is Suma, one of Tengen Uzui's wives, who is confirmed to be bisexual and polyamorous in the series' databooks, showing affection for both men and women, including Tengen and her fellow wives, Makio and Hinatsuru. While other characters like Mitsuri are speculated to be queer, Suma is the sole officially confirmed character, with her relationship dynamic highlighting both bisexuality and polyamory within the Demon Slayer Corps.
Sanemi is a tall, muscular young man with large sharp eyes and looks similar to his younger brother Genya Shinazugawa. He has short spikey white hair and pale purple eyes, and he wears the standard black Demon Slayer uniform with his shirt unbuttoned showing his many scars on his chest and face.
While many Hashira died in the fight, some survived: Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira, and Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira, both survive the final fight, carrying on the memory of their fallen comrades. Tanjiro also survives, and after the war, the Demon Slayer Corps disbands because demons are gone for good.
Tanjiro Activates the Bright Red Sword in Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 5.
Marechi Blood: Sanemi's blood was revealed to be one of the rarest blood types, making it incredibly intoxicating and mouth watering to demons.
The black coloration of Tanjiro's sword is due to the unique nature of his sword and its interaction with sunlight. The black color of Tanjiro's Nichirin Blade is an indication of its rarity and exceptional quality.
Kanae Kocho
Not much is currently known about Kanae and Sanemi's relationship. Gyomei Himejima claims that Sanemi likes Kanae, although we do not know if these feelings were reciprocated or even if they were romantic or platonic.
Some fans believe Shinazugawa's white hair is purely for character design, while others believe it has a deeper meaning and/or symbolism.
Giyuu and Sanemi died because of the mark at 25 years old, other Hashiras died during the fights. Tanjirou did NOT die - he lived a long and happy life because the curse of the mark was reversed, so we can kinda say that Muzan saved him by making him a demon even tho it was only for a short time.
#knyfact ☀️ The reason why Sanemi keeps his uniform open is because he's proud of his muscles. #knyfact ☀️ The reason why Sanemi keeps his uniform open is because he's proud of his muscles.
He coldly insulted Mitsuri by telling her that only a bear, boar or cow would marry her, before leaving while telling her to forget they ever met. While this was maybe somewhat understandable, his harsh insults were completely unnecessarily.
Tanjiro Kamado
His kisses are usually placed on your lips and forehead. Because he is young and inexperienced, he's still not down for french kissing and whatnot. He also likes tightly hugging your waist and pulling you closer to him when you kiss.
LGBTQIA+ travelers are unlikely to encounter violence, outright hostility or overt discrimination in Japan. However, conservative values about LGBTQIA+ sexuality and non-binary gender expression are common, particularly outside large cities.
