They go crazy with their anger, which shows up in their eyes as this blackness due to the expanded pupils and the high hormone levels that cannot be found in a non-narcissistic, angry person's body or bloodstream. So these are why you would see eyes blackening out to the extreme and why it happens.
As with all persons, not just narcissists the eyes appear black in response to an adrenaline increase for the fight or flight experience, during which the pupils dilate. Interestingly this seems eerie to us when in fact the same trait is part of what, subconsciously, attracts us to a mate.

Narcissists are always looking at the external, and they will want to see in your eyes that you adore them and accept them as being the incredible person they have projected. Perhaps most importantly, they are seeking validation.

Another characteristic of narcissists that might affect their physical appearance is their desire to be the center of attention.
