Now that she knew the truth about her parentage and her Force powers, Leia trained as a Jedi with Luke, honing her Force abilities and constructing a lightsaber. But she ended her apprenticeship after having a vision that her Jedi path would end with the death of her son.
After Organa sensed the death of her son at the end of her Jedi path, she discontinued her training and gave the lightsaber to Skywalker, who kept it with him until his death at the Battle of Crait.
In any case, Leia decided to stop her training before taking on the duties of a Jedi because she sensed that it would not end well. She felt that Ben Solo would die if she continued her Jedi training. To try and prevent this from happening, Leia laid down her lightsaber and gave up her training.
Why did Leia leave her Jedi training? She didn't. She was on the final night of her training with Luke, but then had a vision of Ben's death because of her, so therefore stopped her progress to protect herself and her future son.
Abrams says Princess Leia chose not to train in the ways of the Force. In the films, while Luke trains to become a powerful Jedi, Princess Leia is kept busy by essential duties of her own. Later, as the leader of the Resistance, General Organa has her hands full with tasks that don't involve any use of the Force.

Padme didn't have any force powers and she was too old to become a Jedi. She may have had some kind of force powers whilst pregnant with Luke and Leia but being with Anakin could have caused some force sensitivity at the time.

As a result of Amidala's death and Anakin's fall to the dark side of the Force, the Skywalker children were separated and sent into hiding, with Leia adopted by the royal family of Alderaan while Luke was raised by his relatives on Tatooine.
Han's official year of birth is “ca. 32 BBY.” So anywhere from ten to thirteen years older than Leia, with it being somewhat logical that he wouldn't know exactly how old he was as he was a street kid and presumably an orphan.
