Galadriel is supposed to be banned from return because she associate with the kin-slaying in Alqualondë or at least continued on from Aman and then was banned from return.
Galadriel After the Third Age
She attends the wedding of her granddaughter Arwen to Aragorn, King Elessar. She then leaves Middle-earth to head back west to the Undying Lands.
Galadriel didn't want to leave Middle Earth because she would lose her kingdom.
Therefore, her heart never would have rested and found salvation in Valinor, afraid that she had abandoned Middle Earth to darkness. She would have been ever at odds with the tranquility and the beauty all around her.
Why Galadirel Had To Say No To The Ring. Galadriel desired her own kingdom to rule but was not willing to submit to the darkness to obtain it. Her decision meant that she would have to commit to a much more humble lifestyle but she accepted it in order to contribute to the greater good of Middle Earth.
Galadriel is thousands of years old. However, in The Rings of Power, she is much younger than when Frodo meets her in The Lord Of The Rings. She has a while to go yet until she becomes the hero, and someone worthy of a ring of power.
Another aspect that the series explores is the decision to forge three rings. As Galadriel, Celebrimbor, and Elrond (Robert Aramayo) discuss after the process has already started, it is a way of preventing the concentration of power in a single being's hands.
His strong friendship with Gimli prompted him to invite Gimli to go to the Undying Lands; making him the first and only Dwarf to do so.
Because he was the King of Gondor, a Man and a mortal, and he had no reason to abandon his duty. And as a descendent of Elros, he wasn't offered a choice.

Myth: Gimli is the last dwarf.
Though Gimli has no children, he is not the last Dwarf of Middle-earth. After the fall of Sauron, his people continued to thrive in the Lonely Mountain. Gimli made his home in Rohan, in the Glittering Caves of Aglarond, and many of his kinsfolk came with him.

Galadriel Was Ashamed Sauron Tricked Her
The fact that she had saved his life, become his friend, and potentially even developed a little bit of a crush might have just been too shameful for Galadriel to share immediately. There could have also been a darker reason that Galadriel didn't want to confess the deception.
Galadriel was arrogant and rebellious in her younger years, but she later founded and ruled the kingdom of Lothlórien. She grew to be one of the most powerful Elves in Tolkien's universe thanks to the wisdom she gained throughout her long life.
Though neither is someone you'd wish to annoy, Galadriel is generally considered more powerful than Elrond in Lord of the Rings. Not only is she older than her Rivendell counterpart, but Galadriel witnessed the light from Valinor's Two Trees, giving her a mystic quality.

In The Silmarillion, Tolkien outlines the downfall of Númenor as a slow burn that began with the Ban of the Valar, which entailed the first Númenórians agreeing to never sail west toward Valinor.
