How does Hermione respond?
J.K. Rowling confirmed that immediately after the Second Wizarding War ended, Hermione went to Australia and restored her parents' memories. She brought them home and they presumably resumed their lives as dentists. Later on, they would become grandparents to Hermione's children Rose and Hugo.
According to The Leaky Cauldron, when a fan asked if Hermione made sure that her parents could remember her again, Rowling said, "she brought them home straight away." This is good news, as it's awful to imagine Hermione's parents never remembering who she is or ever seeing her again.
Though nominally a Muggle-born witch, Hermione is descended from the Dagworth-Granger family through her father's squib heritage.
The fan asked the author if Aunt Petunia was a Squib (a non-magical person who is born to at least one magical parent) and Rowling replied: "Good question. No, she is not, she is not a Squib. She is a Muggle.
Her real parents were Daneel and Dean Novak, Pureblooded wizards. Turns out Daneel was Tom Riddles younger sister, Daneel Riddle. Of course, the Riddles were related to Salzar Slytherin himself, and this made Hermione the living heir of Slytherin.
She made them believe that they were called Wendell and Monica Wilkins, a couple with a desire to go to Australia and live there. She did this in order to keep them safe should the Death Eaters come after them.
So when Ron said three, it wasn't a mistake. He meant there were three more horcruxes to destroy before being able to destroy the fourth and final piece which was in fact Voldemort himself.
Bill is viciously mauled by the werewolf, Fenrir Greyback. Fortunately, as Fenrir was not transformed at the time, Bill did not become a werewolf, though Madam Pomfrey is unable to completely heal his face, and he remains permanently scarred.
The Deathly Hallows Part I begins with a whole bunch of double-crossing and betrayals. Snape betrays the Order of the Phoenix. A guy from the Ministry of Magic becomes a Death Eater, which is probably how the Ministry ends up falling. And that's just the beginning of the movie.
Harry describes Umbridge to Sirius Black, saying that she's vile enough to be a Death Eater, despite not being one. Umbridge is also depicted to be a prejudiced person, despising half-breeds and Muggle-born witches and wizards to the point of firing Hagrid due to his half-giant birth status.
Charity Burbage floats helplessly above a dinner table, as if paralysed. She begs Snape to help her. Voldemort point his wand at her, and a green light erupts out of its end. The light hits Charity, and she falls down on to the table dead, her eyes open and her face splattered with droplets of blood.
In Deathly Hallows, Hermione faced a real test of her physical and psychological stamina. After being on the run from a bunch of Snatchers, the gang were taken to Malfoy Manor, where Bellatrix proceeded to torture Hermione using the Cruciatus Curse.
Myrtle's life was cut shockingly short when she was killed by the Basilisk at Tom Riddle's command.
Another aspect of the charm not shown in the movie is whether Hermione reverses it. In the Harry Potter book series, it's clear that Hermione finds her parents and undoes the magic. Additionally, author J.K. Rowling stated in a webchat that, “Yes, she brought them home straight away.”
Scabbers was actually, as we know, Peter Pettigrew, an unregistered animagus hiding out as the Weasley's pet rat. No matter how hard he focussed his intention on turning the rat yellow, or even if he'd said the words rattus colovaria (erm, we did our best) the spell would never have worked because the rat wasn't a rat.
A person's physical body can be destroyed, but their soul can live on. So, when Voldemort's killing curse backfired after attempting to murder young Harry, his physical body was destroyed. However, since Voldemort had numerous other Horcruxes, he was not truly dead.
Hermione's parents accompany her to Diagon Alley when she goes to meet Ron and Harry to buy supplies for the coming school year. They seem like nice people – maybe a bit nervous around magic, but willing to give anything a try.
Hermione's original surname was Puckle. Rowling decided against that name because it didn't fit the character.
At one point in time Hermione's last name was actually going to be “Puckle.” Hermione Puckle, Prefect. Hermione Puckle, straight-A student. Hermione Puckle, Mudblood. None of these have any sort of awesome ring to it, and Rowling thought so, too.
Hermione isn't creative enough to enjoy or appreciate Divination as a discipline, whereas a Ravenclaw might be more open-minded. Hermione values bravery and friendship over books and cleverness. While Hermione is known as the smartest witch of her age, her intelligence isn't what she values the most.
He is proud
Pride is a key Slytherin trait, and arguably Albus has it in cauldrons. Sometimes this is to his advantage, like when he takes pride in having a friend like Scorpius Malfoy, who is funny and clever and kind, no matter what the rumours say about him and his parentage.
In the Chamber itself, we see a large statue of a wizard, which Harry presumes is Salazar Slytherin. We also meet Tom Riddle, who is, as it turns out, the heir of Slytherin.
