Also known as the Dark Prince, Slaanesh is the youngest of the Chaos Gods, and possesses a particular hunger for the souls of aelves thanks to their intense and powerful emotions.
KHAOS (Chaos) was the first of the primordial gods (protogenoi) to emerge at the dawn of creation. She was followed in quick succession by Gaia (Gaea, Earth), Tartaros (the Pit Below) and Eros (Procreation). Khaos was the lower atmosphere which surrounds the earth--both the invisible air and the gloom of fog and mist.
There are many minor Chaos Gods extant within the extradimensional Realm of Chaos but the four major Chaos Gods -- Khorne, Tzeentch, Slaanesh and Nurgle -- are particularly infamous and powerful, and possess great influence over the world.
Malal-Malice. Way back in the early days of Warhammer there was a 5th Chaos god. The god was named Malal and they were the god of Anarchy. One particular trait of Malal was that he particular hated all of the other Chaos gods and loved to wage war on them.
In Hesiod's Theogony, Nyx is born of Chaos. With Erebus (Darkness), Nyx gives birth to Aether (Brightness) and Hemera (Day).

Slaanesh is often referred to as a "he," with the masculine gender, though in fact, like all the entities composed of magical energy called the Chaos Gods, it in fact has no true gender, and Slaanesh prefers a far more androgynous appearance than his fellow Ruinous Powers.
Nurgle is the embodiment of the constant cycle of death and rebirth which animates all life in the universe, and was brought into being by mortals' fears of death and the despair they feel about their inevitable mortality from age and disease.
There are four Chaos Gods: wrathful Khorne, devious Tzeentch, pestilential Nurgle and cruel Slaanesh. All are jealous and prideful deities, each believing himself destined to be the supreme ruler of all existence.
According to them, together with Aether and Erebus, Chaos was one of the three sons of Chronos. She was a master artist who managed to shape an egg from the formless Aether. And out of this egg, Phanes (or Protogenos) came out, a bisexual deity who proceeded to mate with himself to give birth to everything existing.

But somehow this enormous vacancy gave birth to Gaea, the earth, to Tartarus, the great region beneath the earth, and to Eros, the shining god of love and attraction. Chaos also bore Erebus, the darkness of the netherworld, and Night, the darkness over the earth.
Nyx was an ancient deity usually envisaged as the very substance of the night--a veil of dark mists drawn across the sky to obscure the light of Aither, the shining blue of the heavens. Her opposite number was Hemera (Day) who scattered the mists of night at dawn.
However, Zeus was afraid of Nyx, the goddess of night.
In the most famous myth featuring Nyx, Zeus is too afraid to enter Nyx's cave for fear of angering her.

In Greek mythology, Chaos was the first entity to appear at the dawn of creation, emerging from a dark void. Chaos was followed by the deities Gaea, Tartaros, and Eros. While Gaea went on to become the mother of everything beautiful in the world, Chaos created Erebus and Nyx, who were the gods of darkness and night.
So while Chaos is infinitely more powerful than Zeus, that is not to diminish the power of the “King of the Gods,” who could be called the most powerful of the corporeal beings in the universe.
