In Classical Greek mythology, Phobos exists as both the god of and personification of the fear brought by war. In Roman mythology, he has also been referred to as Pavor or Terror.
Breeding Fear
Deimos was the twin brother of Phobos, both born to Ares and Aphrodite, and grandson to the Olympian god Zeus, and the goddesses Dione and Hera. Deimos' name translates into English as 'dread'. Thus, together with his twin, they are 'dread' and 'fear', making them harbingers of terror.
Deimos and Phobos, the gods of panic and terror
Deimos and Phobos were the sons of Ares and Aphrodite. Deimos was the god of panic and Phobos was the god of terror and fear in general.
DEIMOS and PHOBOS were the gods or personified spirits (daimones) of fear. Deimos represented terror and dread, while his brother Phobos was panic, flight and rout. They were sons of the war-god Ares who accompanied their father into battle, driving his chariot and spreading fear in his wake.
1. Typhon. The “Father of all Monsters”. Typhon was the last child of Gaia, fathered by Tartarus, and is considered the most powerful and deadliest of all creatures in Greek mythology.

Koalemos is the Greek god of stupidity and foolishness. Not as infamous as the Twelve Olympian gods and goddesses that include Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, and Hera, to name a few, Koalemos serves as a personified minor spirit.
Yama, the Hindu god of death and Lord of Naraka (hell). He was subsequently adopted by Buddhist, Chinese, Tibetan, Korean, and Japanese mythology as the king of hell.
In Roman and Etruscan mythology, Mania (Manea) is the goddess of Spirits and Chaos. In Greek mythology, she is the goddess of insanity and madness (Maniae).
Zeus is the strongest of the gods in the Ancient Greek religion because he has both power and intelligence. He is able to ensure that he is not replaced by another, more powerful deity. He is also able to ensure the allegiance of many other gods by giving them rights and privileges.
Zeus was worshiped far and wide across the Greek world, including at festivals such as the Olympic Games. His legacy as the greatest of gods also meant that he became the favored deity of great leaders in the ancient world.

Hades is famous for being unmoved by the prayers and cries of the mercy of the ancient Greeks. It comes with the job of being the ruler of the dead. If everyone got pardoned, the living world would be overrun by their ancestors in minutes. In Greek mythology, Hades was the first-born son of the Titans Cronus and Rhea.
So while Chaos is infinitely more powerful than Zeus, that is not to diminish the power of the “King of the Gods,” who could be called the most powerful of the corporeal beings in the universe.
Grim Reaper. In modern-day European-based folklore, Death is known as the Grim Reaper, depicted as wearing a dark hooded cloak and wielding a scythe.

Typhon attempted to overthrow Zeus for the supremacy of the cosmos. The two fought a cataclysmic battle, which Zeus finally won with the aid of his thunderbolts. Defeated, Typhon was cast into Tartarus, or buried underneath Mount Etna, or in later accounts, the island of Ischia.
In some versions of Greek mythology, Zeus ate his wife Metis because it was known that their second child would be more powerful than him. After Metis's demise, their first child Athena was born when Hephaestus cleaved Zeus's head open and the goddess of war emerged, fully grown and armed.
He's more powerful than Zeus and more likable, but he isn't king either. Zeus is better at ruling than Poseidon and Hades. 2. Hades radiates fear.
