1 The Skywalker Lightsaber Is Rich With History

Black lightsabers are extremely rare in the Star Wars universe, and only a few have been seen on screen. Rey's lightsaber was a yellow-bladed lightsaber that was constructed by the Jedi Rey Skywalker following the First Order-Resistance War.
After he lost his second lightsaber prior to the First Battle of Geonosis, Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was promoted to the title of Jedi Master as well, built a new lightsaber for himself during the ensuing Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems.
