In the Buffyverse (Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel), Cordelia Chase becomes a part-demon (or half-demon) by The Powers That Be to handle prophetic visions, gaining powers like levitation, light generation, and soul purification, but her exact demonic lineage isn't specified, though she later becomes a Higher Being when possessed by the entity Jasmine.
In the middle of the third season, she becomes a love interest of the protagonist Angel. In the fourth season of Angel, she appears to take on a villainous role before it is revealed that she is possessed by a malevolent deity; this storyline eventually leads to her death and subsequent exit from the series.
Tl;dr: Jasmine possessed Cordelia when she left the higher dimension; the memory restoration only triggered Jasmine's control over Cordelia; Cordelia slept with Connor in the sense that Jasmine was possessing her body at the time; Cordelia's body was pregnant with Connor's baby but it wasn't exactly a baby.
Cordelia was written off because David Greenwalt wanted to bring Charisma Carpenter with him to his new show.
Tim Minear actually talked about this a bit, the reason they turned Cordy evil was that they wanted to undo her ascension. They all collectively decided they hated that storyline and wanted to undo it by turning Cordelia into the big bad and revealing that she wasn't chosen to become a higher being.

In total, Cordelia is the victim of mystical pregnancy three times during the series: from a Haxil beast in this episode, as host of an unborn Skilosh demon in "Epiphany," and from Connor while possessed by Jasmine, as first revealed in "Salvage."
She died loving Angel, knowing that Angel loved her back. During the Fall of Los Angeles, Cordelia came to a dying Angel to ease him into death. He told her he loved her but could not go with her.
The season 5 episode "The Body" is the saddest "Buffy" episode in its run and certainly one of the most tragic television episodes of all time. - Cordelia was the only woman he fell in love with as much as he fell for Buffy. (He felt true happiness with her and lost his soul.) - Angel liked to make Cordelia happy. A very good example is how he bought her a bunch of new clothes and was happy with her.
She gets possessed by a demon and gives birth to it, and then goes into a coma becomes like a semi ghost (can be seen and can touch and move things around) and then never wakes up from her coma presumably dies. Cordelia deserved a better fate. She should've just had a normal life with either Angel or somebody else.
After the Twilight crisis, Xander moved with Dawn into an apartment in San Francisco and they were officially together a couple.
