Zenitsu is in a constant state of anxiety and paranoia, always crying and tries to run away from the sight of risk. He is saying that he wants to live a humble, normal life instead of that of a Demon Slayer in which he believes he's worthless all along.
In the Naruto series, Zetsu, of the Akatsuki, has different identities. The two halves of Zetsu's body have distinct personalities but work together as a whole. In a pinch, he can switch between his White and Black Zetsu faces, located on either side of his face.
Personality. As a human, Nezuko was a kind and caring girl, who thought of others before herself much like her older brother, Tanjiro, and was a responsible older sister to her younger siblings.
Zenitsu — Anxiety
To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Zenitsu is anxiety incarnate. He starts out the series so paralyzed by fear that he can't even fight when he's conscious, and so he's only able to fight when he's passed out.
Zenitsu Agatsuma is a part of the Demon Slayer Corps who the previous Thunder Hashira trained. Zenitsu is a skilled and able member of the organization but gets easily scared when facing demons. But as the series continues, we watch him grow as he eventually overcomes his fear of demons and fights them head-on.
So, as a result, it can be concluded that Zenitsu does not really have a split personality disorder, but instead sleepwalks, or rather, fights. Zenitsu Agatsuma is a fan-favorite character of Demon Slayer due to his endearing nature and intense fighting skills.
Kanao Tsuyuri
While they have little to no interaction in the series, Nezuko cares enough for Kanao that she was distraught when Tanjiro (now a Demon influenced by Muzan) injured Kanao and referred to her as Kanao chan, implying there is some closeness between them.
Nezuko Kamado
Despite having an intense fear of Demons, Zenitsu develops a crush on Nezuko. He tries to convince her to marry him several times and never fails to mention his admiration for her whenever he sees her.
Zenitsu's debt is estimated to be around 600,000 yen in modern currency. This massive amount of debt likely came from his 7 ex-girlfriends.
Believing he was losing his master's favor, Kaigaku began to despise Zenitsu for being merely a weak and timid man who earned his master's favor out of dumb luck. Thus, he started to bully Zenitsu constantly.
Zenitsu is scared of Kaigaku. Because he realizes that he, in fact, is a character made up in the mind of a real person. Therefore, he is having a mental breakdown.
Therefore, it is safe to assume that Zenitsu and Nezuko end up together and have kids in the future. This is proof that Zenitsu loved Nezuko and she too came to love him at some point in time.
Sanemi stabs Nezuko's box multiple times, prompting her to leave it. Seeing the Hashira's wounded arm, she is transfixed by the sight of his blood.
But Demon Slayer introduced Tanjiro's main love interest briefly, and she doesn't really return until the end of the season, when she is fighting against him. His love interest that develops as the story goes on is Kanao Tsuyuri and their romance is quite adorable.
16. Despite his ridiculously timid attitude, Zenitsu is older than Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Inosuke. In other words, this 16-year-old's cowardly nature makes him seem like the youngest out of the four main cast members.
When the series starts Nezuko is 12-years-old since she is one year younger than her brother. Between the first chapter and the end of chapter 5, time has gone and two years have passed. While stuck physically at age 12 because of the whole demon thing, Nezuko is 14 chronologically.

Zenitsu, while awake, is aware of his surroundings, and can sense demons quite efficiently with his 'Enhanced Sense of Hearing', but when it comes to even slight contact with a demon, he blacks out. So, to sum it up, his fear of going against terrifying demons that could end his life, drives him to fall asleep.
1 Tanjiro Kamado
Demon Slayer's protagonist is also, unsurprisingly, the anime's most popular character by quite a wide margin. Tanjiro is kind to his friends, but he also doesn't hesitate to put them into place for their poor behavior, particularly when it comes to Inosuke and Zenitsu.
