The power of God's blood, referring to Jesus's blood in Christian theology, lies in its ability to cleanse from sin, provide redemption, offer protection, grant access to God, and bring spiritual healing and victory over evil, enabling believers to be justified, forgiven, and made righteous through faith, securing their relationship with God and freedom from spiritual bondage. Hebrews 13:12 tells us that “Jesus also suffered…in order to sanctify the people through His own blood.” It makes sense that God wants us to be in a new relationship with the sin that previously condemned us. The blood symbolizes cleansing and purification—the settling of a matter. God is love. And the greatest expression of His love toward us is the blood of Jesus. That love covers every need man has had or ever will have, and every time we apply the blood, we experience an outpouring of this love.

God is so obsessed with blood because He's so obsessed with life. More than anything else in the body, blood is essential to life. It's what carries the fuel and oxygen to the billions of cells in our bodies. Blood supplies the brain and the heart with the necessary nourishment to function.

In our fast-paced and often chaotic world, Joshua 24:14-15 invites us to pause and reflect on our own spiritual journey. It prompts us to evaluate our priorities and recommit ourselves to serving God with sincerity and passion.
The holy things and the pearls represent the things of God, perhaps the gospel itself. The dogs and pigs represent hostile, unworthy people. And so the statement translates into something like this: Do not preach the things of God to hostile, unworthy people.
HOW to Lead a Household That Serves the Lord
For as the ancient Israelites knew, when our blood is gone, so is our life. And so, blood is the premier biblical symbol of life. The Israelites came to know the living God during their long desert journey on the way to the promised land.
Jesus' blood confirms the new covenant made between God and Jesus' disciples. Jesus had a meal with his disciples before he went to the cross. He took a cup of wine and said to them, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood” (Luke 22:20 ESV).
You can plead the blood of Jesus over any person or situation. As your children walk out the door, lay your hands on their heads and say, “In the Name of Jesus, I plead the blood of Jesus over [name].” As you drive, say, “In the Name of Jesus, I plead the blood of Jesus over this vehicle and all who are in it.
Colossians 3:23 means that Christians should approach all tasks, work, or activities with passion and excellence, not just for human superiors but as if serving God directly, understanding that their true reward and service is ultimately to Christ, who will provide an eternal inheritance. Blood represents life and is sacred to God. After it has been removed from a creature, the only use of blood that God has authorized is for the atonement of sins. When a Christian abstains from blood, they are in effect expressing faith that only the shed blood of Jesus Christ can truly redeem them and save their life.
