Since Android 12 (S OS), Samsung has included several enhancements to improve the user privacy protection experience. This green dot is a tool that allows you to know when an application is accessing the device's camera or microphone in real time by displaying a green dot at the top of the notification panel.
Close the App Accessing the Camera and Microphone
When you see the green light next to the battery, swipe down to access the notification panel and see which app is using the camera or microphone. Close the app to turn off the green dot.

Open the Battery usage section, and you can check out stats for the last seven days or the last 24 hours using the drop-down menu just to the right. In either case, you'll see a chart showing battery drain over time, and under that, you'll see the applications that are most responsible for it.
The biggest battery drainers are social media apps, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube and WhatsApp. They are in the top 20, and all allow 11 features to run in the background. Android and Iphones will refresh background apps periodically by default. This uses your phone's battery and your data.
