In the episode, Claire, Jay and Mitchell go on and confess past sins during a family brunch with Mitchell destroying one of the proudest moments of Jay's, scoring a hole-in-one at a golf game. Jay is furious about it and leaves while Mitchell decides to follow him to apologize and the two of them make up.
Alex accidentally reveals a secret about Haley to their dad, Cameron fakes a back injury to catch Claire in a lie, Mitchell confesses a secret about one of Jay's proudest moments, and Luke helps Manny try to impress a girl.
Phil takes the little ladies (Alex, Haley, Lily and Beatrice) to the mall to visit the doll hospital. Due to a little mishearing of “Haley's aversion” and a little hysterical laughter from Alex, Phil becomes the last of the Dunphys (aside from Luke) to learn that Haley is no longer a virgin.
Before Modern Family went on break Haley found out that she was pregnant. She spent last week's episode trying to figure out if she and Dylan were ready to be parents and tonight, that was tested again. This was triggered by something she received from her grandmother who passed away earlier this season.

After Andy was hired by Haley's family member as a nanny, the two spent months getting to know each other and eventually became close friends. When romantic feelings between the two developed, they had to put their friendship on pause because Andy was engaged to someone else.
Hyland went on to explain that over the years, she's chosen to wear “extensions” on Modern Family, because her hair had started to fall out as a result of her battle with kidney dysplasia and endometriosis. “With medications and stuff, it can make your hair fall out,” she shared.

A decade later, in Modern Family season 10, episode 10, “Stuck in a Moment,” Hyland's hated character ending came about when Haley announced to her parents that she was pregnant with Dylan's twins.
Claire was 23 years old when she had Haley.
Sarah Hyland hasn't been in every episode of Modern Family's final season. The 29-year-old actress, who has played Haley Dunphy in all 11 seasons of the ABC comedy, responded to a fan on Twitter asking about her absence. “Apparently I've been busy with the twins,” she wrote back Friday with a shrugging emoji.
The answer? She was asleep for them. On co-star Julie Bowen's Quitters podcast, with co-host Chad Sanders, Hyland—who played Haley on the comedy series' 11 season run—discussed her second kidney transplant and how her kidney dysplasia caused her to forget filming episodes because she was so tired.
