Romantic love is a gift from God and should be welcomed as such. In the beginning, before the fall, God observed that people should not be alone and so found it suitable for a man and woman to know each other in an intimate, exclusive, and sexual way (Gen. 2:18; Matthew 19:4-6).
Proverbs 31:10-11
The Good News: Having a loving spouse is the best gift of all that comes from God. And if they trust in each other with all of their heart, they'll have a happy, satisfying life.
"The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband... Psalm 18 - Love is Powerful
Psalm 18 teaches us to hold on to Love. He is the One True God, reliable and solid as a rock when everything else crumbles, cracks, and fails us. His love is perfect, and He is powerful. God set for a plan from the very beginning to rescue us, out of His love for us.

To feel unity with your partner, you can make sex a sacred act of love. Moreover, there are other loving acts on a physical level. e.g. kissing, cuddling, or holding hands. Holding hands especially can become the most intimate act of love.
What is written about sex before marriage in the Bible comes predominantly from the book of 1 Corinthians, written by Paul. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 says “Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.
Love must be faithful.
Jesus (the Bridegroom) gives Himself totally to the Church (His bride). The book of Genesis describes that a man leaves his father and mother, cleaves to his wife in total commitment, and the two become one flesh. These steps of marriage happen between Jesus and His bride, the Church.
God's love means that we celebrate the positives and have compassion when things don't go right for our spouse. Love protects; we are to be our spouse's defender and stick up for him or her. Love always trusts; meaning that we look at our spouse's motives positively. We don't assume the bad from our spouse.

Jesus said love is non-negotiable.
The most important commandment Jesus gave us is to love God and love others (Matthew 22:34-40). Healthy relationships are so important that God didn't just suggest we treat others well; He commanded it.
Eros — Romantic Love
It's a passionate love displayed through physical affection. These romantic behaviors include, but are not limited to, kissing, hugging and holding hands. This love is a desire for another person's physical body.

The highest level of intimacy, requires the greatest amount of trust in our relationship. It is only when we feel truly safe with somebody, that we become willing to share the deepest core of who we are. It's up close and personal.
Selfless Love (Agape)
Feeling selfless at heart is the ultimate, purest, and highest form of love. People who radiate such kind of love hold virtues like kindness and compassion towards everyone. To be selfless is to speak the language of true love. A living example of selfless love would be our mothers.
Agape love, which is most often crowned as the highest form of Christian love, is the kind of love and action that shows empathy; extends the desire for good of the beloved; wants the best; extends help or demonstrates good intentions; and is intended for everyone. Agape love is sacrificial.

Lustful Heart Defined
In Matthew 5:28, Jesus tells us “everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”
Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope.
True love is a unique and passionate bond that connects you as a couple that wants the best for the other person regardless of what that means for them. It is the foundation for a healthy, loving relationship. True love is authentic and genuine.
The definition Jesus gave for love depended on the kind of love; whether love for God or love for one's neighbor. He defined love – love for God – as obedience to His word. And He defined love – love for neighbor – as treating your neighbor the same way you would have him treat you.
Love is not an occasional gesture but an obvious aspect of character. So here is a snapshot of what genuine love looks like: It is patience, generosity, humility, courtesy, restraint, joy, and consistency.
