Aneurysm surgery risks include general surgical complications like bleeding, infection, blood clots, and adverse reactions to anesthesia, plus specific risks like stroke, organ damage (kidney, bowel), nerve damage (spinal cord injury), heart problems (heart attack, irregular rhythms), and long-term issues like sexual dysfunction, often depending on the aneurysm's location (brain vs. aorta) and patient's overall health.
Risks and recovery with surgical clipping
