The Venom symbiote is an alien entity that is canonically agender or genderless. It does not have a biological sex in the human sense and reproduces asexually.
It reproduces asexually, can mold itself after the gender of its host (as seen in both the comics and film with Anne Weying), and yet speaks in a traditionally masculine tone. But never is a gender assigned to the symbiote. This marks Venom as gender nonconforming.
It's always weird as hell when a comedy series tries to end on a weepy, nostalgic note, and it's even stranger when it's a series primarily focused around a gay romance between a nebbish journalist and his superpowered black-goo alien partner.
Venom mostly uses he/him pronouns unless referring to Eddie-and-Venom as a plural unit. I've seen fic where they explore this, and fic where Venom uses whatever pronouns the host uses. A bit different in the comics, where (at least originally) Venom is the combined form and uses us/we and they/them pronouns.
She-Venom (Anne Weying) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is the ex-wife of Eddie Brock. She is the first character who goes by the She-Venom identity, and she is also colloquially referred to as the Bride of Venom.
Edward Charles Allan "Eddie" Brock is the human host of the symbiote Venom. Together, the pair are known as the Lethal Protector. After being transported to another universe as a result of a spell cast by Doctor Strange, he learned about the Avengers, Spider-Man and Thanos before being returned back to his universe.
This is Venom's coming-out party.” The rainbow colors and freedom of expression found at this rave are pretty blatantly queer-coded, as is the reunion between Eddie and Venom that comes afterward.
The symbiote attached itself to Kasady IMMEDIATELY upon "birth". It's personality is completely intertwined with Cletus. They are truly one being and their personalities are the same because of. That is why Carnage uses "I" instead of "we".
"Taylor Swift has been a long-time ally to the LGBTQ community.
The two make out at a party, and Kyle assures Lady Bird that he, too, is a virgin. Armed with this information, she decides that they will be each other's firsts, and they have sex in his bedroom one afternoon. She's on top. Kyle isn't a virgin at all, though.
Strange World, which was released on November 23, 2022, features Ethan Clade, who is the first gay lead character in a Disney animated film.
He is constantly trying to sacrifice himself to save Eddie and when they do briefly break up in the 2nd film, Venom is so distraught that he goes on a bender (at a freaking gay bar!). Aside from the “urge to merge” of it all, Venom themself is a nonbinary queer icon.
Billie Eilish says she has a crush on Venom. "That's a fantasy for sure."
It was mentioned in a previous Tok'ra-centric episode that symbiotes are asexual and don't have a gender but do have a preference for host gender.
Deadpool's history is a complex and layered one, with the character known for his meta moments, some of which are quite well known. He is also a character who is – canonically – pansexual and is, thus, a member of the LGBTQ+ community in the comic books.
She also argues that the Harry Potter books contain elements of Harry as a queer character – and for Willis this includes his highly charged relationship with Potions professor Severus Snape – but the only mention of homosexuality in the entire series is when Harry's abusive cousin Dudley Dursley jokingly asks him if ...
Slowly but surely, the incredibly popular Marvel Cinematic Universe expands to include more LGBTQ+ representation. The CW Arrowverse had LQBTQA+ representation from the very beginning. These included both canon LGBTQA+ characters from the books and ones added for the various shows.
Sonic manipulator Shriek is commonly known as Spider-Man's foe, and as the sometimes-partner of Carnage. Born Frances Louise Barrison, it's believed that an unstable upbringing causes her frequent bouts of insanity. When paired with Cletus Kasady, her thirst for chaos is insatiable.
In the comics, Anne Weying was bonded with Venom, which led her into becoming She-Venom. She was also married to Eddie Brock, unlike the the movies, where she was engaged with him before breaking up later on.
Nope. Your Spider Sense doesn't work around Venom, Spidey. Which of these is the best "gotcha" moment, left or right?
A mercenary soldier, he played an important role in the series Deadpool; T-Ray served to remind Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool, what a failure he was. He is Deadpool's archenemy for many issues and almost everything that happened to Deadpool was a part of an elaborate plan orchestrated by him.
Only a few select people can withstand his seemingly endless talking, resulting in his mouth being sewn shut in the final act of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Ajax also threatens to sew Wade's mouth shut in Deadpool when Wade is undergoing (unconventional) cancer treatment because of his nonstop talking.
