There is no right or wrong way to pray during Adoration. It may be helpful to use a prayer book, or read Scripture, or another spiritual book, or pray the rosary. But, as many people would recommend, avoid filling the entire prayer time with these things.
The short answer: no. There's no right way or wrong way. Prayers can be long or short, formal or informal, joyful and angry. God promises to always listen to us and our prayers.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. The World English Bible translates the passage as: In praying, don't use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking.
It is not wrong for us to ask for what we want or what we need, but we must be careful not to put ourselves in the place of God, asking Him to fulfill our will. That is not the purpose of prayer, and there is no basis for expecting answers to selfish prayers.
Summary. Jesus taught, “When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men … but when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your father who is unseen.”
We ought to approach Him as our loving dad, declare His goodness & holiness, ask for His authority & His will for our lives, recognize & seek His provision for our basic needs, come humbly before Him to seek forgiveness, and request His strength to resist the temptations we are faced with in this life.
In the Bible people prayed on their knees (1 Kings 8:54), bowing (Exodus 4:31), on their faces before God (2 Chronicles 20:18; Matthew 26:39), and standing (1 Kings 8:22). You may pray with your eyes opened or closed, quietly or out loud—in whatever way you are most comfortable and least distracted.
Jesus said, absolutely not. Our heavenly Father is nothing like the judge in the parable (Luke 18:6-8). God never grows weary of listening to his children. In fact, Jesus told us to keep on asking, keep on seeking, and keep on knocking (Matthew 7:7, AMP).
Your prayers do not align with God's will.
Simply put, sometimes God doesn't answer our prayers because we are praying for the wrong things. And we may not be doing this out of malice, either, so much as out of ignorance. Perhaps we don't know enough of God's Word to know his will.
Vain Repetition Definition
Another definition is to utter empty or foolish talk. Pagans or heathens do not have faith in God, so their prayers are empty or void of faith. It doesn't matter how long or short you pray; if it's empty, it's vain.

Silence and solitude are essential aspects of contemplative prayer, a practice of prayer that waits on God and trusts in God's present love and grace. While silence can be especially helpful in becoming attentive to God while praying, it is hardly an excuse to remain aloof from the needs of our neighbors.
There is power in praying aloud, so although silent prayers may be more comfortable for you, you should try to give voice to them when you can.
Through the scriptures, we are taught that God will always hear our prayers and will answer them if we address Him with faith and real intent. In our hearts we will feel the confirmation that He does hear us, a feeling of peace and calm.

The Bible speaks of bowing in prayer, kneeling on one's face before God, standing, sitting and walking. The most important thing isn't the position of the body but the condition of the soul. If the heart is attuned to God, one can pray in any posture imaginable.
