The Hone Hone no Mi is a Paramecia type Devil Fruit that allows the user to manipulate their own skeletal structure (their osteoblasts and osteoclasts). By infusing their calcium with blood, they could manipulate the growth and properties of their bones to their liking.
It enables the consumer to transform into a giant skeleton about fifteen times taller than a normal person. The word Shinue (死ん飢え) means "Starving Dead" as after transforming into the giant skeleton, the user would always attack its opponent by biting their heads off. The fruit was consumed by Tanashi.
