Dishwater, also known as grey water, is great for your lawn. Washing up liquid, such as fairy liquid, also helps to “thin” down water, enabling it to get through areas of compacted soil.
Seasol should never be applied undiluted – water is the carrier to ensure proper coverage. Once diluted, it should be used within 24 hours. Seasol is filtered to 150 microns so that it is suitable for application with any conventional spray equipment including boom-sprays or irrigation equipment.
The washing up liquid helps break the surface tension of the water droplets and helps the water to soak into dry ground. Secondly, once the rain returns it is a good idea,to start lightly spiking your lawn with a garden fork to help the water soak into the ground this also helps the grass to re-establish the root zone.
Brown spots that appear after mowing are often caused by a dull mower blade. Dull blades will shred the grass instead of cutting it cleanly and will damage the ends. This causes the tips of the grass to die and turn brown. You can easily fix this by sharpening or replacing the blades on your mower.

Spray thoroughly over the foliage every 2 to 4 weeks. Any liquid applied to foliage in direct sunlight can cause burning. Avoid use on plants when they are in direct sunlight, particularly if magnified through a window. Do not use Seasol Foliar Spray outdoors if daytime temperature is expected to exceed 25°C.
