Protecting Your Jewelry
We recommend that customers remove their Pandora jewelry before going to bed, showering, swimming or participating in physical activity. Your jewelry must not be exposed to chlorine or salt water, as this will dull the appearance.
Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming or sleeping. To protect its rhodium coating, please keep white gold Pandora Brilliance products away from hand sanitiser, perfumes and creams.
Depending on the size of the charms you choose, your bracelet length, and how you want your PANDORA bracelet to fit, you can typically fit 17 to 22 charms. This number includes two clips and any spacers you pick. In addition, if you choose to add a safety chain, this will take up the space of two charms.
If not properly cared for, silver will tarnish. This post offers you a tutorial on how you can keep your jewellery looking nice and shiny. Before I start, however, I will warn you: never, ever ever use chemical liquid silver cleaners to clean your Pandora jewellery. These will ruin it.
Being exposed to moisture, skin and the air causes a chemical reaction that gradually over time, oxidizes the silver metal turning it from shiny silver, to a light yellow/silver color. If you do not properly clean your pieces after this occurs, that yellow coloring will again gradually turn to black.
Jewelry should be stored away from natural sunlight and heat, in a protective (lined) jewelry box or a tarnish-resistant pouch. It can also be stored in a plastic zip lock bag made of Mylar or polyethylene.

What do I need to know about my Pandora product? The Pandora bracelet stretches over time as weight (e.g. charms) is put on the bracelet. The chain, commonly called a snake chain, is made out of many little rings which are twisted very tightly into the chain. When buying a new bracelet, it should be tight.
The most common size worn is a 19cm bracelet.
This allows room to fit charms on your bracelet and remain comfortable.
For women, the industry standard bracelet diameter is 7 inches; for men, the standard is 8 inches. Some types of bracelets have clasps that allow the wearer to adjust the size.
Separate your charms into sections and balance your bracelet by adding two fixed clips. For bracelets that have threads (raised grooves), clips attach to these to hold charms in place. For bracelets that don't have threads, we recommend using clips with silicone grips to keep your charms in place.
