In pregnancy, the breasts may start to produce milk weeks or months before you are due to have your baby. If your nipples are leaking, the substance is usually colostrum, which is the first milk your breasts make in preparation for feeding your baby. Leaking is normal and nothing to worry about.
Tenderness and discomfort
Breast tenderness is often one of the earliest symptoms of pregnancy. According to the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development , breasts may become sore, heavy, or tingly as early as 1–2 weeks after conception. The nipples may also feel sensitive or even painful to touch.
When do pregnant women start leaking breast milk? Your body starts to produce colostrum in the first trimester, but moms-to-be usually don't start leaking breast milk until closer to the end of pregnancy, if it happens at all while they're pregnant.
Nipple discharge is the release of fluid from the nipple. It is a very common breast symptom and in most cases is part of the normal function of the breast rather than being caused by a problem. Nipple discharge alone (without a lump or other nipple change) is a very uncommon symptom of breast cancer.
Milk production generally begins around the midpoint of pregnancy, somewhere between weeks 16 and 22. At this stage your body is producing what's known as colostrum—a yellowish milk that's rich in calories and disease-fighting antibodies—which will serve as baby's first food after birth.

Colostrum production

Generally speaking, breastfeeding your husband or partner is OK. It's not perverted or wrong if you want the person you are intimate with to breastfeed, or if they ask to try breastfeeding or taste your breast milk.
Do you need to prepare your nipples for breastfeeding? No. Your body is already preparing for breastfeeding. Thanks to hormonal changes in pregnancy, women are capable of producing breast milk by the end of their second trimester.
During pregnancy, dehydration can cause urine to become darker and more concentrated, leading to a yellow or orange color.
You should expect your nipples to get progressively darker throughout your pregnancy and be the darkest when your baby is born. Your nipples will also begin to produce and may leak colostrum, a precursor to milk, towards the end of your pregnancy.
If a person becomes pregnant, progesterone levels will continue to rise. This causes breast tissue changes that can make the nipples or breasts sore.
Sore nipples during pregnancy, particularly in the first trimester, is a common problem, and usually a sign of rising levels of pregnancy hormones. The good news is, your nipples should progressively become less sensitive and tender into the second trimester. Talk to your care provider if you have any concerns.

When does your belly start feeling hard during pregnancy? This varies, but it's usually during your second or third trimester. As your uterus grows, it eventually pushes against your abdominal wall, making your abdomen feel firm. The muscles and ligaments around your uterus stretch, too, which can cause mild cramping.
