Most Islamic scholars agree that irreversible methods such as sterilization are impermissible, while reversible methods (i.e. condoms, injectables, pills, IUDs, etc.) are permissible (Bhala, 2011).
Praise be to Allah. It is permissible to use condoms so long as this does not cause any harm and so long as both husband and wife consent to their use, ...
But Islam does not forbid love. Ismail Menk, a renowned Islamic scholar, argues in one of his lectures that love, within boundaries and with expectations of marriage, is an accepted fact of life and religion — if done the right way.
The Quran does not prohibit birth control, nor does it forbid a husband or wife to space preg- nancies or limit their number. Thus, the great majority of Islamic jurists believe that family plan- ning is permissible in Islam.
Condoms are the best way to protect yourself against sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and unwanted pregnancy. Condoms are a barrier contraceptive made from latex rubber, a synthetic rubber called polyisoprene, a very thin plastic called polyurethane, or a synthetic material called nitrile.
The only 100% effective way to prevent sexual transmission of HIV and STDs is through abstinence - avoiding all vaginal, anal and oral sex. Using a latex male condom or a female condom can greatly reduce, but not entirely eliminate, the risk of HIV and STD transmission.
Egyptian scholars have argued that any method that has the same purpose as 'azl - i.e. preventing conception - is acceptable, so long as it does not have a permanent effect. Contraceptive methods that do not prevent conception but cause a very early abortion are not accepted.
Writings of Muslim jurists make it clear that Islam allows for the use of reversible methods of contraception, including oral contraceptives, condoms, coitus interruptus, emergency contraception, injections, subdermal implants, IUDs, spermicides, and diaphragms.
In Sunni Islam, oral sex between a husband and wife is considered "Makruh Tahrimi" or highly undesirable by some Islamic jurists when the act is defined as mouth and tongue coming in contact with the genitals.
It never occurred to anyone of them that such talk is forbidden. Of course, if the conversation is frivolous or leads to suggestions that are not in line with the serious moral attitude of Islam, such conversation may be forbidden, but only because of its contents, and not for being between man and woman.
It does not simply stop at covering one's hair. Within the Muslim community, there has been a lot of dispute over whether or not covering the hair is mandatory (fard) to fulfilling the demands of Islam. If this is, in fact, the case, then choosing not to cover one's head would be impermissible (haram) in the faith.
Nevertheless, Islamic scholars have tended to regard dogs' saliva as impure; practically, this means anything licked by a dog necessitates washing. Many Islamic jurists allowed owning dogs for herding, farming, hunting, or protection, but prohibited ownership for reasons they regarded as "frivolous".

Marriage is de- scribed as half the faith in Islam and to have children is seen as a great blessing. There is no religious objection to an in- fertile married couple pursuing any form of infertility treat- ment including in vitro fertilization, surgical sperm retrieval and micro-assisted conception methods.
The Roman Catholic church forbids contraceptive use because it is a sin against nature. Some Protestant denominations have allowed contraceptive use. Islamic law states that children are gifts from Allah.
The Prophet's sayings appear to support contraception. And while jurists do no agree on the issues of birth prevention, the eminent jurist Al Ghazali clearly gave his consent for withdrawal as a way to prevent pregnancy in order to save a woman's health and live, avoid financial hardship, or other domestic problems.
As mentioned in the literature relating to contraception and Islamic belief, vasectomy or tubectomy (i.e. tubal ligation) is permissible to prevent pregnancy as long as the procedure is temporary (i.e. reversible).
A spiritual perspective
However, their belief in pregnancy being Allah's (God) giving 'gift' and it is received through Allah's will, made Muslim women who are trying to become pregnant feel content and did not feel the need to haste into seeking medical intervention.
Summary – Is IVF halal? In general, yes, in vitro fertilisation is acceptable in Islam, provided that it is for a married couple and both the egg and sperm come from this couple. This means that sperm or eggs embryo adoption isn't allowed.
Sperm can't pass through a condom. The only way that could happen is if the condom breaks or if it has a hole in it. Otherwise, sperm stays trapped inside the condom. That's why condoms are so good at preventing pregnancy.
You can buy condoms at any age. Condoms are available in drugstores, Planned Parenthood health centers, other community health centers, some supermarkets, and from vending machines. Individually, condoms usually cost a dollar or more.
