They are hard or unmovable – Unfortunately, apart from being painless and abnormally large, swollen lymph nodes in leukaemia or lymphoma tend to feel quite similar to infected lymph nodes. However, occasionally they can feel very hard and cannot be moved when pushed.

Symptoms Non-Hodgkin lymphoma
Lymph nodes, also known as lymph glands, are pea-sized lumps of tissue found throughout the body. They contain white blood cells that help to fight against infection. The swelling is caused by a certain type of white blood cell, known as lymphocytes, collecting in the lymph node.
The most common symptom of Hodgkin lymphoma is one or more enlarged (swollen) lymph nodes. The enlarged lymph node may be in the neck, upper chest, armpit, abdomen or groin. The swollen lymph node is usually painless.
Common symptoms of having lymphoma include swelling of lymph nodes in your neck, in your armpits or your groin. This is often but not always painless and often could be associated with fevers, or unexplained weight loss, or drenching night sweats, sometimes chills, persistent fatigue.

Hodgkin's lymphoma is most frequently diagnosed by a lymph node biopsy of an enlarged lymph node.
Most breast lymphomas are of the non-Hodgkin's B-cell type, with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma constituting the most prevalent subtype (6). Intramammary masses, most of which are round or oval in shape with circumscribed or gently lobulated margins, are the most common mammographic finding.
