Each Cambridge English Qualification targets a particular level of the CEFR and they work together to create an effective learning journey. People who were awarded the C2 Proficiency certificate were legally allowed to teach in exchange for money.
A C2 level of English is essentially a native level. It allows for reading and writing of any type on any subject, nuanced expression of emotions and opinions, and active participation in any academic or professional setting.
In summary, C2 level is considered the highest level of proficiency in the CEFR framework, and it's considered as a near-native speaker level of proficiency, but not equivalent to the proficiency of a native speaker.

The main difference between the two tests is the level of English that they allow you to achieve. C1 Advanced is targeted at the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), while C2 is targeted at the C2 CEFR level. C2 Proficiency is therefore the more difficult of the two exams.

Language Levels: CEFR
Someone holding C2 level would have an active vocabulary of 10,000 and a passive vocabulary of around 20,000.
A C2 Proficiency qualification demonstrates that students have mastered English to an exceptional level, and are able to communicate with the fluency and sophistication of a highly competent English speaker.
A candidate scoring 200 to 210 will receive a grade A and a Cambridge English: Advanced certificate stating that they demonstrated ability at Level C2. The maximum achievable score for Cambridge English: Advanced is 210.
Level C2 corresponds to proficient users of the language, i.e. those able to perform complex tasks related to work and study.
An example of beyond-C2-level English is academic English. Academic English requires a different level of formality, longer and complex sentences, and is sometimes filled with jargon (vocabulary specific to a particular field of research).
Other level names in this convention are: A1- Breakthrough, A2- Waystage, B1- Threshold, B2- Vantage, C1- Advanced, C2- Mastery. Which CEFR level is the highest? C2 (Proficiency) is the top level you can achieve on the CEFR scale.
Fluency - Level C3
The C3-Fluency course attempts to bring the student to complete functional fluency. Particular attention is given to acquiring a deeper understanding of the connotation of words and the rhythm of the language. Students are expected to produce daily passages in clearly and precisely.
If a person is at C2, this is proficiency level. He/she can do the following: Understand with ease practically everything he/she hears or reads. Summarise information and arguments from different spoken and written sources,and present them coherently and concisely.
Read widely and often. If you read widely and often it enables you to acquire knowledge of aspects of English such as collocations, idioms, phrasal verbs and linkers, and get a feel for the syntax of written English. A good thing to do here is to get equipped with good textbooks preparing for C2 Proficient (CPE).
Reasons to choose C2 Proficiency:
Passing it proves that you have mastered English to an exceptional level. Helps you to develop the English skills needed to succeed in very high level academic or professional environments.
Your Cambridge English certificate does not expire. Recognising organisations such as universities, colleges and employers can choose how long to accept results for, so make sure you always check their requirements.
The minimum score to pass Cambridge C2 Proficiency (CPE) is 200 points (60%).
According to the CEFR, to reach the C2 level, we need about 1200 hours of study, but a child practices their mother tongue for 12,000 hours before even going to school.
This is a legitimate question and one that many learners ask themselves. Some linguists believe that 800 words are enough to hold a basic conversation. However, your vocabulary should be over 8,000 words if you want to speak a language as well as a native speaker.
But it's not enough to cover all the needs of someone who wants to work or study in a foreign country, for example. If you want to reach an advanced level, then you'll probably need between 6,000 and 10,000 words. And if you want to speak as fluently as a native, you'll need to learn 10,000 to 15,000 words.
You will not be able to speak English perfectly after 3 months. But, it's likely you won't speak English perfectly after 3 years, or even 30 years, either. After 3 months, you should expect to make mistakes, but you should be confident that you will be understood.
The candidate must have spent at least three years working in job group C1. The applicant must also possess at least a diploma. Secondary Teacher II refers to diploma-holding secondary school teachers. Once three years have passed since their deployment, these teachers are automatically promoted to grade C2.
Today is the perfect time to begin mastering English. Learn the cognates and the most common words, and then immerse yourself in the language. Talk to yourself, chat with native English speakers, and always be willing to learn from your mistakes. If you do these things, you can become fluent in English in six months.
