There are six levels of language proficiency (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) according to the CEFR scale. They are grouped into three broader levels: A1-A2 (Basic User), B1-B2 (Independent User), and C1-C2 (Proficient User).
Our Verdict. The LG C2 OLED is a higher-end TV than the LG B2 OLED, so it performs better overall. They have the same SDR peak brightness, but in HDR is where the C2 stands out as it gets a bit brighter and highlights pop a bit more.
It is our highest-level qualification – proof that you are a highly competent speaker of English. A C2 Proficiency qualification shows the world that you have mastered English to an exceptional level. It proves you can communicate with the fluency and sophistication of a highly competent English speaker.
If B2 is what many consider “fluent,” then C1 is fluency with increased nuance and understanding. At C1, you can understand subtle jokes in the language, and express yourself with colorful native phrases. When you reach C1, you should have a working vocabulary of about 8000 words – almost double that of B2!
Level B2: upper independent English level
Level B2 corresponds to a more advanced, more independent level than previous levels. A B2 user can communicate easily and spontaneously in a clear and detailed manner.
C2 Proficiency is the highest level qualification provided by Cambridge Assessment English and shows that learners have mastered English to an exceptional level.
A C2 level of English is essentially a native level. It allows for reading and writing of any type on any subject, nuanced expression of emotions and opinions, and active participation in any academic or professional setting.
An average native speaker has at least C1. C2 could be but C2 is more for scientific reasons or literature.
SKILLS AT LEVEL C2
He/she can summarise information and arguments from different spoken and written sources, and present them coherently and concisely. He/she can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.
Your certificate can be awarded at different levels, depending on your achievement. Exceptional candidates sometimes show ability beyond B2 level. If you achieve a scale score of 180–190 (grade A) in your exam, you will receive the First Certificate in English stating that you demonstrated ability at Level C1.
Level B1 indicates a more intermediate speaker who can hold basic conversations and understand simple texts. Level B2 is considered advanced, and speakers at this level can participate in complex conversations and understand long and difficult texts.
Is there much difference between the exams? The answer is yes! You will need to work a lot harder and be serious about your preparation for the C1 Advanced exam. While the B2 First shows you have a good grounding in English, the C1 Advanced is closer to the level of a native speaker.
You can expect to encounter more complex, nuanced texts and questions in C2 Proficiency compared to C1 Advanced. However, both tests are at a high level and success in either qualification will be accepted as proof of English proficiency by most universities.

Someone with a B2 level is a proficient speaker of the language, meaning that they are pretty advanced. They will have more difficulties expressing themselves than C1/C2 or native speakers, but can usually get themselves understood and will be able to understand reasonably well.
SKILLS AT LEVEL C1

A native speaker is not required to pass a C2 level exam, instead, they require only the technical words that are used in their own language. There are also speakers of foreign languages who have a C2 level who are not native of the language.
If a person is at B2, this is upper intermediate level.
In the minds of many, this is a good measure of fluency. Someone holding C2 level would have an active vocabulary of 10,000 and a passive vocabulary of around 20,000. That's in line with what information shows is the average for a native speaker to know.
It describes language ability on a six-point scale, from A1 for beginners, up to C2 for those who have mastered a language. This makes it easy for anyone involved in language teaching and testing, such as teachers or learners, to see the level of different qualifications.
Fluency - Level C3
The C3-Fluency course attempts to bring the student to complete functional fluency. Particular attention is given to acquiring a deeper understanding of the connotation of words and the rhythm of the language. Students are expected to produce daily passages in clearly and precisely.
An example of beyond-C2-level English is academic English. Academic English requires a different level of formality, longer and complex sentences, and is sometimes filled with jargon (vocabulary specific to a particular field of research).
