Take a cup of rock salt and add 9 litres of hot water into a bucket. Dissolve the salt entirely and slowly pour it into the toilet. Let it work its magic overnight and flush in the morning. The rock salt down your toilet drain will break down any material, such as grease and debris.
One of the most effective and safest options for unblocking a clogged toilet is using table salt. Salt is generally inexpensive and readily available. You can use salt together with other products to unclog stubborn toilet drains. For this method, mix half a cup of baking soda into half a cup of table salt.
We recommend you add a cup of baking soda to your blocked toilet and wait for some minutes. Next, pour two cups of vinegar slowly into the toilet. Vinegar and baking soda will typically react to form bubbles, so ensure you pour carefully and slowly to prevent the toilet water from overflowing or splashing.
Rock salt is no different! While it's a proven method for killing tree roots, it's best to avoid placing rock salt down your toilet, or any other household drain for that matter. Use Epsom Salt
Pour several cups of Epsom salt into the toilet bowl and allow the salt to sit for half an hour before you flush. You should notice a difference after the first flush. You can also combine the dish soap method with the Epsom salt for an even more powerful result.
The Epsom salt should dissolve within a few minutes. If some particles aren't dissolving, swish the water around with your hand.

Baking Soda and Salt
Baking soda is great for cutting grease in clogged sinks. When it comes to clog removal, mix one part of baking soda with one part salt and four parts of boiling water. Dump this mixture down the drain and let it sit overnight. Flush your drain with hot water in the morning.
Worsening Clog
The longer you leave a clog, the more opportunities there are for the clog to get worse. The most water-soluble parts of the clog will dissolve, and the rest will fill in the gaps, making the clog worse. There is also the possibility that human error could come into play.
