Of all methods for keeping worms out, the most effective is to practice good hygiene. The cleaner a space is, the less likely insects and other bugs will be able to get a foothold. Cleaning your bathroom at least once a week should keep germs, bacteria, and the occasional carpetbagging earthworm at bay.
Millipede Hiding Places
If the conditions outside become too hot, dry, or wet from heavy rain, they will sometimes find their way into your home, seeking shelter. Indoors: Millipedes are attracted to cool, damp places like the basement, crawl spaces, or the garage.
Try to find mature worms, young worms and worm eggs in your worm bin. 7. Worms can live as long as four years. When worms die in the bin, their bodies decompose and are recycled by other worms, along with the food scraps.
As earthworms need moisture to breathe, the acidity of vinegar will cause moisture to leave their bodies, likely resulting in their death. It may be difficult to kill only earthworms with vinegar, however. If sprayed on the lawn where you are trying to get rid of the worms, you will also kill the grass.

Treatment. The most commonly used anti-worm products to treat intestinal worms (threadworms, roundworms and hookworms) are pyrantel, albendazole or mebendazole.
Any worms in your gut will eventually pass out in your poo. You may not notice this. To avoid becoming infected again or infecting others, it's very important during the weeks after starting treatment to wash your hands: after going to the toilet.
Maggots can't live in the acidity of vinegar. Mix 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar and pour the solution directly over the maggots. Let the mixture sit for about an hour before you discard the maggots and clean the area.
They sometimes come inside under door thresholds and around windows at ground level. The best control is to remove as much of the moist mulch around doors and away from the foundation as possible (make a 6" to 12" gap between mulch and house). This reduces their breeding sites and the favorable areas for them.
Mustard mixed with water and sprayed makes an effective vermifuge as earthworms dislike the pungency of mustard. Mustard is not harmful to the grass, other plants or human beings. Mustard therefore makes an environmentally friendly earthworm repellent.
What you do notice about millipedes is their size (1 to 1/14 inch) their color (very dark brown), their shiny, hard shell (crunchy), their long, cylindrical shape and their habit of curling into a coil when disturbed, handled or when they are dead. Millipedes are harmless.
These little white worms are Clothes Moth Larvae. This means that they will keep growing and changing until they turn into adult Clothes Moths. Clothes Moths Larvae eat animal-based fibers which contain the protein keratin. They will also eat materials such as cotton if they are soiled with sweat or blood stains.
If the “worms” are limited to your kitchen and are crawling up walls and along ceilings, it's a good bet that they are Indianmeal moth larvae. The other white worms (in that size range) that can be found in kitchens are fly maggots, but those do not have legs. Maggots wiggle along; they can't crawl.
You'll likely need to give your doctor a stool sample for a few months to make sure all the worms are gone. It's harder to treat an infection caused by tapeworm cysts. In addition to the medicine that kills the tapeworm, you may need medicine to reduce inflammation or other symptoms, like seizures, that you're having.
Chlorine dioxide gas inactivates pinworm eggs in a non-invasive and non-corrosive manner.
A hot water wash, or the heat of an iron, will kill the eggs. Do not shake bed linen indoors as this can spread eggs around. Shower each morning, and wash around anus.
The Deworming Process after a Few Days
You may be surprised to still see live worms in your dog's feces after deworming them, but this is normal. While this can be an unpleasant image, it's actually a good thing — it means the worms are no longer living inside your dog!
Other intestinal worm infections are also treated with medicines that kill the parasite without harming the person, such as albendazole, mebendazole, ivermectin and praziquantel. Your doctor or a gastroenterologist will advise on the appropriate medicine and the dose. The worms are then usually passed out of the body.
For most people, treatment will involve taking a single dose of a medication called mebendazole to kill the worms. If necessary, another dose can be taken after 2 weeks. During treatment and for a few weeks afterwards, it's also important to follow strict hygiene measures to avoid spreading the threadworm eggs.
Earthworms have some natural enemies such as ants, centipedes, birds, snakes, toads, carabid beetles, and nematodes. Do not apply pesticides to control earthworms.
Sprinkling common salt on an earthworm leads to loss of water from the organism's cells through osmosis. The salt absorbs all the water volume from the earthworm. The loss of water is caused by the high concentration of salt outside the earthworms cells. The organism becomes dehydrated and finally dies.
