To get back something you accidentally deleted, first check the Recycle Bin (Windows) or Trash (Mac), right-click the item, and select "Restore," or use your cloud service's (like Google Drive) trash/bin folder; if it's permanently gone, try Windows' File History for previous versions, or use data recovery software, but act fast as recovery becomes harder over time.
To get back something you accidentally deleted, first check the Recycle Bin (Windows)/Trash (Mac); if it's not there, use Ctrl+Z (Undo) immediately for files deleted within an app, or check File History/ Time Machine backups, or even your phone's "Recently Deleted" folder for photos/messages, before resorting to specialized file recovery software for permanently lost files.

You can restore messages you deleted for up to 30 days.
If your recycle bin is empty or the deleted file is not there, you can still recover it using File History. For File History, right-click on the folder where the file was located, select "Restore previous versions," and choose a version to restore.
Only the person who added the photo or video to the Shared Library can permanently delete or recover it from the Recently Deleted folder. You have 30 days to get a photo or video back from your Recently Deleted album.
Restore Files Deleted from the Recycle Bin with Previous Versions
On an iPhone, "Recently Deleted" folders for Photos/Videos and Files are found in their respective apps, usually under a "Utilities" or "Locations" section, requiring Face ID/Touch ID to access; deleted Messages are in the Messages app at the top, and deleted Apps can be found in your purchase history in the App Store.
On iCloud.com, you can recover files deleted from both iCloud Drive and other apps within the last 30 days, whether you deleted them on iCloud.com or another device that has iCloud Drive turned on. However, you can't recover or restore files you permanently remove.
If you're using the Recycle Bin feature in Windows, the file is still accessible and can be restored with a single click. It becomes more challenging when a file is deleted bypassing the Recycle Bin, such as by using the Shift + Delete shortcut, or when the Recycle Bin is emptied.
To restore files from your Recycle Bin in Windows, open the Recycle Bin, select the files or folders you want to recover, then right-click them and select Restore. The file or folder will be restored to its original folder.
Deleted messages and attachments remain in the Recently Deleted folder for 30 days, but you can permanently remove them before that.
iTunes backup: If you regularly synced your iPhone with iTunes on your computer, there might be a backup. Connect your iPhone to the computer, open iTunes, and select your iPhone. From there, you can restore your iPhone from an iTunes backup which might still have those videos.
A deleted file doesn't really disappear from your hard drive; it stays there until new data fills up the space it occupied. This process might be hard to understand for people who don't know much about how computers handle files.
Check the Recycle Bin
On almost all computer systems, once a file has been deleted this is the place it will end up next. With a quick search in the Bin, your wayward file can easily be selected and restored to its original folder as long as you have not emptied it.
Deleted files may not appear in the Recycle Bin if they are too large for the allocated storage capacity of the Recycle Bin or if the Recycle Bin itself is already full, causing the system to bypass placing these files in the Recycle Bin and instead delete them directly.
