Presumably, the scene was simply meant to make Han jealous. Still, Luke looked very thrilled by this unexpected turn of events and Leia seemed to consider both men romantically, though the sexual tension with Han was admittedly much more palpable.
Mara is a strong character as a part of the expanded universe of the Star Wars Legends series of novels. Their love is so strong that Luke winds up marrying her, and she bears a son that they name Ben (not Ben Solo).
The Last Jedi
They have a touching conversation at the end and Luke gives Leia a brief kiss on her forehead. So the final tally is Princess Leia gives her brother Luke Skywalker five kisses and Han Solo got eight.
In The Empire Strikes Back, Luke and Leia share an awkward kiss, but a deleted alternate version of this moment reveals it could have been worse. One deleted scene from The Empire Strikes Back involving Luke and Leia is much worse than their kiss in the movie.

Luke reestablishes the Jedi Order, marries a non-movie (but fan favorite) redheaded Force-wielder named Mara Jade, and they have a son, Ben Skywalker (named in honor of Obi-Wan “Ben” Kenobi).
She does not have a baby bump, her hand never goes to her stomach to indicate she's carrying a child, and there wasn't exactly any time for her to have conceived a child with anyone in the course of the film, including Kylo Ren/Ben Solo.
Anakin, who has since become the Sith Lord Darth Vader, is unaware of his children's birth. The twins soon became part of the Rebel Alliance following the deaths of their adoptive families at the hands of the Empire.

While a mistake in real life, the canon reason that Leia embraces Rey before Chewbacca is due to Leia seeing Rey as a lost soul and surrogate daughter, establishing a strong relationship that will grow through the sequel trilogy.
The Force Awakens (2015)
Maz, who has a crush on Han's copilot, the Wookiee Chewbacca, is intrigued by Han's companions, the renegade stormtrooper Finn (FN-2187) and the scavenger Rey.
“Why, you stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder!” This is arguably Princess Leia's most memorable diss, aimed at Han Solo in the Rebel base on Hoth. It's a bit of a tongue-twister at times, but if you can perfect the cadence, it certainly is useful in a good number of situations.
Fun facts also worth mentioning: Han Solo happens to be 10 years older than twins Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa.
There is no implication or indication that Luke and Leia ever slept with one another, even before they knew they were siblings.
Canon comics
Han is a main character in the 2015 Star Wars comic series. Issue #6 introduces Sana Starros as Han Solo's wife, although a few issues later she is revealed to have only married him as part of a plan to scam a crime lord's gambling den.
Darth Vader didn't learn he had a daughter until Return of the Jedi, when he stood before Emperor Palpatine. The Emperor's power probed Luke's mind, attempting to goad him to fall to the dark side, and he discovered Leia's existence. "Sister," the Emperor taunted.
Mara Jade Skywalker is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. She appears in the now non-canon Legends series as the wife of Luke Skywalker and mother of Ben Skywalker. She has been voiced by Heidi Shannon, Edie Mirman and Kath Soucie in various Star Wars video games.
