Wrong!! These wipes are coated with a chemical to keep them soft and moist, designed to be used on human skin only! Using baby wipes, you will break down the protective layer on the leather.

Mild soap and water.
If you can, use saddle soap to give your leather a deeper clean. But if you can't get your hands on it, dilute mild unscented hand soap or dish soap in water as a replacement. You can then dampen a washcloth with the soapy solution to gently remove stains.

But, other chemicals in the product which are designed to keep them wet, such as the various alcohols, will eventually cause the leather to crack. So, while they're great for a baby's skin, they're disastrous for leather.
Leather furniture can be cleaned using simple household products. First, use a soft cloth to dust the surface. Mix a 50/50 vinegar and water solution in a bowl (Image 1) and use a microfiber cloth to apply it to your furniture (Image 2). 'Always stick to a mild dish soap to clean leather,' says Lucy Searle. 'Mix with warm water in a bowl and use to dampen a microfiber cloth, then wipe down the couch with the solution. ' Use a cloth dampened with plain water to wipe a second time, and dry with a third cloth.
If you're dealing with sealed, bonded, or PU leather then you can just use any multi-surface cleaner to spray and wipe. If you've got top- or full-grain leather then read on to make sure you keep things in peak condition.
Make leather jackets look new again
You don't need fancy leather moisturizer to take care of your favourite leather jacket. Petroleum jelly does the job just as well. Apply, rub it in, wipe off the excess, and you're ready to go.
